Just right for us

We were greeted by friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our room. We had the king bed with pull out couch and Jacuzzi tub. It was just the two of us and our small dog. The room was large & clean . They have a small fitness room, picnic area around back and an outdoor pool. The free breakfast is what most hotels offer - toast, juice, coffee, fruit and cold cereal - The location was near where we needed to be but we found it's only about a 5 to 10 minutes drive to the tourist area so it's not within walking distance. Really enjoyed our overnight stay - have stayed here a couple of times before and would stay again. had a fantastic rate that we couldn't pass up!

There are many hotels located along 89A some are smaller than others but the area surrounding them is safe and well kept. If you've never been Here, my feeling is that all hotels are good hotels - some are more comfortable than others, of course. Sedona is not that big so staying further away, outside the tourist area, is not a big deal.

I can't wait to come back!

The Kokopelli Suites is everything and more! All of the photos you see in the details are for real! I opened the door to my Sugar Loaf Suite and was amazed at the spacious accomodations, cleanliness, and the location of this hotel right on Hwy.89A in the heart of Sedona! I would definitely come back here again and plan to in the future!

Everyone in Sedona, from merchants to local residents were very friendly. One merchant we spoke with even showed us how to reach a shortcut from Sedona to Interstate 10, completely bypassing the congestion and traffic in Phoenix and saving us hours of time on the road. I can't wait to return to Sedona!

Not quite what they advertise

The hotel was clean and adequate and the warm continental breakfast was good, but there was NO internet service in-room, as advertised. The signal was there, but was so low that it was inaccessible. We had to go to the lobby to connect. Basically, the further away your suite is from the lobby, the lower the signal. Also, at check-in the staff tried to get us to pay $20 more per night for the two extra people in our room, even though we stated we had four adults when we made the reservation. We showed them the [...] receipt and everything, and they still insisted we pay more money! We had to threaten to go elsewhere before they finally agreed to not charge us more.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Most of the attractions, shopping and restaurants are a bit of a drive from this hotel. We did a lot of driving while we stayed at this hotel, so prepare to spend a lot of time in the car.

Excellent Stay in Sedona

We had a great experience in Sedona. The shopping, views, and Pink Jeep tours were excellent! The room was nice, the staff friendly, and the continental breakfast was good.

Nice place

This is a nice place for a night or two stay. The rooms are bigger than average so although there were four of us in one room we didn't feel cramped. The bathroom is a bit small but I would rather have the room in the living area.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

We had dinner at the Old town restaraunt around a mile back towards downtown and the food was delicious. We ate in the dining area but the bar looked like a much better atmosphere.

Great Stay for the Money

I selected this Hotel for its location, close to our tennis tournament site, as well as many eateries and shopping. The complimentary breakfasts were great both mornings---good selections offered, both cold Continental and hot foods (eggs, sausages, waffles, etc.) Staff was very friendly and helpful in all ways. I will try to stay there on future visits to Sedona.

Good location. Not in the heart of the city, so away from hords of people and noise. Close to hiking trails. Good continental breakfast. Hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy every morning. Friendly staff available to answer questions and make suggestions for restauants.

Kokopelli Suites

Okay for the greatly discounted rate...not worth anything like the rack rate. Clean but in need of refurbishing. Very very comfortaqble bed.
