This was a great place to stay. We will be back

Great experience. Staff was friendly and made suggestions of where to go (miss the crowd). Bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. Room had everything. Nice patio with chairs to sit right outside room. Swings on the premise to sit and stare at the red rocks. Far away from the "heart" of the red rocks, but within driving distance- hotel was quiet and just great.

Nothing special

Not many shops around. You can walk to Safeway and Walgreens. Thai Spices is a great place to eat if you like Thai food. The room price was good. The breakfast was good for being free. I would get there by 8 though if you want choices. The bed was hard as a rock. The room was clean though. The pool was nice. There was a fridge and microwave in the room so it cut down on having to eat out every night since we could get food at Safeway. The staff was not friendly.

Great location

The hotel was very clean and the employees were really friendly. The location was perfect and it was no problem to go by car to Sedona center. The only thing that wasn't that good was, that the breakfast room was really small and the choice of food wasn't that much. But all in all it was a great hotel.

Sedona Stay

We stayed at this motel the night before I was to do a race in the Sedona Marathon. The room was very clean and it was quiet. We had stayed there 12 years prior when we got married in Sedona and loved it them. This is a great place to stay and we will be staying there again when I run in the Sedona Marathon next February. Hotel clerk was very friendly and nice. Also, got a later check out time so I could clean up after the race.

Mountain Biking Trip

Called ahead to make sure the hot tub was working, they confirmed it was on and working. Got there and of course it is not working--nor did it the entire week. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast sucks, very limited. Go to Cafe Jose and spend the extra 5-10 bucks for a real meal.

OK, Not Great

This is a typical property for this brand. High Points: The bed is comfortable. Lighting was adequate for reading. Low Points: Dead bugs (multiple) on rim of vanity light; it took two separate requests to get them cleaned off. The rim had clearly not been cleaned in ages. Pillows are like rocks. Big ones. Towels are small and very thin, and only 2 bath towels for a 2 person room. Free breakfast is only carbs. No half and half for coffee available. They did have fresh fruit. Overall: I would not stay here again, but it met the need since we had family staying in the area and spent minimal time at the hotel. If I did come back, it would only be with my own pillow. (The people in the adjacent room also remarked on the uncomfortable pillows.)

Days Inn Sedona, AZ

Excellent value at a location close to all the sites; even had views of the red rocks from our balcony. We had a comfortable king size bed, internet access, refrig, microwave, cable tv, pool with a hot tub. Not a lot of choices at the continental breakfast but enough to get your started. Only 2 complaints, the breakfast area was much too small to accomodate all guests and the bathroom is very tiny. We only slept in our room so for the money spent it suited our needs. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The Bistro at Sedona Pines Resort; 5 star dining that doesn't break the bank, very casual restaurant but the food is first quality in presentation and taste; also in uptown Sedona, have lunch at Sedona Memories, fabulous sandwiches on home baked bread and rolls. Sandwiches are big enough to share for $7 or $8.

Perfect Trip.

Our hotel room was everything we needed with an exceptional view of the beautiful rocks right out our window. It was clean and very spacious with a great pool and hot tub which was a wonderful and relaxing way to end the day. Hotel staff were all very friendly. If we ever get back to Sedona we will stay here again.
