Nice location

Our hotel room was clean and neat, but was dated. Carpet and tile was old, as well as furniture and plumbing. The bed was very comfortable, though, with great pillows. I was disappointed that they never changed our sheets while we were there, and we had to call repeatedly to get our room "tidied up" when they missed our regularly scheduled time. The TV was also the old fashioned kind. We are used to the updated flat screens in 2012! We did get a room with a view of the beautiful red rocks, but no balcony. They tried to get us in a downstairs room overlooking the greenery and pool, but we didn't go all of the way to Sedona to see that! I don't think I would stay here again, but it was okay for the price.

The Sedona information center was very helpful. We got a coupon book for $8.00 that saved us $17 on the Pink Jeep Tour, plus saved a small percent at many restaurants and amenities. The food in Sedona was fantastic

Great Sedona Trip

This hotel was comfortable, but very dated. The carpet and tile was old, as well as the furniture, plumbing, and sink. Even the TV was the old analog kind, not a flatscreen you would expect in 2012! The bed, though, was very comfortable with great pillows! Had a partial view of the beautiful red rock mountains, but no balcony. There was a nice pool that was supposed to be heated, but was very cold. It took them 4 calls to "tidy up" our room when they missed the regular clean up day. I was disappointed that they never changed the sheets the whole week we were there, and there were no kitchen utensils or plates. Mostly okay, though, and a good location in the Oak Creek area south of Sedona. Okay value for the price.

Go the Sedona visitor information center for some great ideas. We purchased a coupon book that saved us on the Pink Jeep Tour and many restaurants and attractions. Have to hike some of the wonderful trails to see the most beautiful scenery!

Excellent Value

First of all, this is a timeshare property, so they will try to get you to attend a timeshare presentation while you are there. This will take up most of a day, so make sure any gift or discount is worth your time if you decide to attend. It is not mandatory. We liked the location, about a 10 minute drive from Sedona in the village of Oak Creek. We found Sedona to be a bit more congested, so we were glad to be away from it. There is a grocery store just around the corner. There were also enough dining options around for us to be able to grab a bite nearby. Most of the fine dining options are on Sedona, though. The room is a great value for the money. We stayed in a studio suite and it was perfect. It included a living room area, a small fridge, a very nice coffeemaker and a microwave. Free pool towels were also provided. Daily room housekeeping is not provided, although they will gladly give you towels or anything else you need if you ask. We were there for 6 nights and a mid-week cleaning was included in the price. The staff was friendly & helpful, except when we discovered that they did not clean our room midweek as they promised. They were unapologetic and even suggested that we must have put out the do not disturb sign. Other that that issue, the stay went very well for us. I can recommend this place as long as you do not require hotel amenities like room service, daily housekeeping, onsite restaurant, etc.

Don't get fooled

They are going to try to hit you with a Diamond Resorts sales pitch.Don't Go!!!In my opinion,a real scam. They don't care about cleaning there.Once during a six day stay, and we had to really hassle them about it.

Beautiful and quiet property in Sedona

We loved the Bell Rock Inn. It's a time share property but we didn't get pressured at all or even talked to about the time share. There was a fantastic hot tub we enjoyed each night, the bed was SO comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. I loved the ample space in the room as well. The only complaint is that I wish the fridge in the room would have been bigger. We thought the unit had a kitchenette, but it had a very small mini fridge and microwave. Still, I would stay at Bell Rock Inn again in a heartbeat.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

About 200 yards from the hotel is the Bell Rock hiking area. We didn't even bother driving to the parking lot, which gets full pretty early. We simply walked from the property and hiked for almost 4 hours on the ample trail system.

Great Hotel

We just got back from Sedona and it was beautiful. The hotel is not far from the attractions and it's walking distance to Bell Rock. I thought overall the hotel was great: it was clean, quiet, spacious, and just good to make my stay comfortable. I only gave it a four stars because it doesn't have a buffet and the staff was mediocre, however the concierge, Pat (I think), was really sweet and helpful. I also feel that to ensure safety of the guest there should be a card entry door only, to get into the hotel- that's just my opinion. There was only one incident that occured during our stay. One day coming back from Jerome we found our door open with the lights on. Weird, but nothing was missing, thank goodness. I think someone had a double key or something. I was the last one to leave and I always double check to make sure the door is closed, because last thing I want is to get robbed. The pool area is pretty cute and the water was clean. It was cold but people were still going into the pool to relax. There is also a hot tube. There was a group of bad kids there talking negative (drugs, mom being dead, etc)., whatever, they were a bit annoying. According to one of the boys he's uncle works at the hotel. If that's true the uncle needs to keep an eye on that kid, he was mean mugging my husband and my husband is in his late 30s, lol. Oh well, nothing we couldn't handle:) All in all, it was a great hotel and I would come to this place, despite having my door open. I mean how often does that happen? It was the first for us and we travel 3 times a year. Just one thing, your in Sedona. Keep in mind that their sewer system is so different from other states. I am from Chicago, so I accidently clogged the toilet. Remember one flush per use and don't dump a whole lot of toilet or you'll find yourself calling the handyman. Enjoy your stay at this very clean, great location, spacious hotel.

HUGE room disparity

I reserved 2 rooms and was charged the same price for each. One room had a separate bedroom, living room and full kitchen. The other room was comparable to a Motel 6 with burned and frayed carpet, no kitchen, altho there was a sitting area. The TV buzzed loudly and went in and out of fuzziness. Shocking disparity! Desk attendant demanded all 4 persons be present at check-in and then tried to sell us a time share.
