Combining business and pleasure

While I attended an educational conference nearby, my husband enjoyed hiking in the beautiful desert scenery. Our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed leisurely breakfasting in our kitchen before going on our way.

weekend golf excursion

Stayed 3 days and 2 nights for golf trip, playing at TPC courses. The location of Xona was perfect. Cheaper than the Fairmont, which is right across the street and my suite included a kitchen and small living room. The kitchen was a bit dated but is was still nice and clean. This was my first time in Scottsdale and I plan on bringing the family next time. I will definitely stay here instead of the Fairmont due to price and size of room. My friends stayed at the Fairmont and they only received a standard room that cost twice as much.

Great hotel. Would stay again!

I thought this hotel was great. There were only a couple of minor "hic-ups". The room they originally put me in was a regular king room, on the bottom floor. It was tiny and almost underground. I upgraded to a King suite on the top floor and LOVED it! I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, and all of the staff was very friendly adn helpful. I liked their transport service as I didint know the area and I wanted to have a drink without worrying about driving. There is some stuff to see and do close by, but if you want a casino, its about a half hour drive.

bowl game hotel

great location, room service comes in plastic containers though, takes away from taste...great value and alot cheaper than the Fairmont accross the parking lot - great value overall though - dont let little kids swim in the adult pool though - no staff monitoring or poolside room service if you want to order drinks though!

Nice, but needs help

Rooms are large and well designed, nice setup. Kitchen has dishes, pans, etc. but no paper towels or dishclothes. No ramp or elevator to third floor rooms, dragging luggage up was no fun although staff did volunteer to help with that. Comfortable room, safe area, nice amenities. Older place, but rooms have been remodeled. Our bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned and dinette table wasn't washed, but otherwise looked clean. Location and price were reasonable for that area. Maintenance staff was working on sprucing up every day we were there.

Good for family getaway

Very pleasant, quiet area. \ We first were given a room which had a plumbing issue and smelled like sewer gases were escaping. We called the front desk and they immediately sent someone with a key to a new room which ended up being an upgrade for us. They were very responsive. and the new room had none of the odor we had smelled and was in a great location.

Great stay at the Zona Resort

Room was better than expected. Walls are a bit on the thin side. Could hear some noise from room next door. The staff at both the front desk and the Graze restaurant were very responsive and friendly. If you go to Scottsdale for golf, the Zona is an easy drive to favorites such as Grayhawk, Troon North and the TPC.
