Awesome Location
The Wingate by Wyndham was very nice. The breakfast buffet came in handy. The hotel is 2 blocks from 101. Rooms are generous.

Short walk from hotel
Across East Shea Blvd is a shopping mall, restaurants and Fry's. There is a gas station 1 block away also. Across the 101 is another shopping mall with a PGA Golf Superstore.

Close to Medical Facilities
We stayed at the hotel for visits to a Spinal Clinic nearby. Since surgery was not an option, we stayed and rested until my husbands pain resulted in two ER trips. Staff went above and beyond to help us get to where we needed to be for Er and Pharmacy needs and a Dr. visit. Special housekeeping was needed also and they were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Alovely hotel, great all the way around. We would come back to visit the area and stay there in a flash!! Great breakfast buffet also! Helped us to get a good start to the day! Van drivers were top rated! The only bad thing was that the pillows were just too FLUFFY! Just kidding.

GREAT FOR OUR VISIT
WE JUST TOOK IT EASY OVER THE MEMORIAL WEEKEND....SHOPPED AND VISITED FRIENDS....IT WAS A GREAT LOCATION FOR OUR VISIT!!

VERY PLEASANT STAY
My husband and I were staying at this hotel, as we were attending a wedding nearby, so I can't really judge the location, as the wedding is all we cared about. However, we loved the hotel itself; the service was great, staff very friendly, free warm breakfast, free internet connection, very nice rooms (very clean, and I loved the decor too). It was pretty cold at that time, but the heating in the room kept the room very cozy. Would stay there again and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Excellent location, excellent staff
This was a great find. We travel to Scottsdale 2 or 3 times a year on horse business. We were there for a tour of Arabian Horse farm and training stable open houses. The location of the hotel is excellent, right off the 101 Loop. I don't believe we could have had a better location. The hotel itself is great, the staff excellent -- friendly, competent, professional. The breakfast was superb. Access to computers 24/7 is great. It was simply a great place to stay. Will return, and recommend this to others. Oh, the price was also great.

Great place and location
Everything was clean and well kept. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Even the breakfast staff went out of the way to be helpful. The location was close to restuarants, shopping, even close to the Spring Training facilities which we took in.

Happy we stayed here
Newer hotel that was very clean. The staff at the front desk were very polite and eager to help. We recently stayed at a Hilton in Phoenix and this hotel for cleanliness and helpfulness beat the Hilton hands down. We will stay here again.
