Not great for how much I spent
Every single staff that helped me in any way expected a tip. I was charged for absolutely everything including the 5 LOCAL call that I made. And the last night we were there we found gigantic cockroaches crawling out from under our refrigerator, then when I told them about it they didnt even apologize and offer to clean it up. I got "Oh well, they are just trying to escape the heat". Not to mention all of the stupid propaganda about buying a time share... Phone messages and notes on the door, it was an hoursly thing. I will never go back there again. One thing that was nice was the Relaxation pool with no screaming kids.

Exceptional facility, fantastic staff
The hotel was beautiful, but the staff made the trip. They couldn't have been nicer. They were truly there for you. They had a shuttle service to their other property or they would take you anywhere in the area you needed to go. Then they gave you the shuttle drivers cell # to call him when and where you needed to be picked up to return to the property. WHAT SERVICE!!

Nice resort, great location.
We stayed at the Kierland Villas before and enjoy them very much. It is a beautiful resort with great amenities. Poolside food service, nice waterfalls, and outdoor fires. Very quiet the week we were there. But upon check-in, we were directed to the concierage for some discounts, but she offered extra incentives if we did a tour on Westin ownership....90 minutes. But the incentives were good, so we took the bait. Really just a timeshare situation, that we were not interested in. Also the food from the poolside restaurant wasn't up tp to the typical standards of the Westin.

Sensational Scottsdale
We stayed @ Kierland Villas for a 4 night 5 day golf getaway. The accomodations were wonderful, shopping and dining were close-by. A 5 minute drive takes you to Kierland Commons, an outdoor shopping area; a variety of chain stores are located there. The dining was great, we had lunch at RA Sushi Bar, delicious, and dinner at The Greene House, excellent. We golfed at Kierland just one day, there are 3 nines. Well organized, very helpful and a golfer friendly course, that is not punishing. Golf carts had coolers, that if you wanted, cool air blew onto you via adjustable hoses, that was unique! We had lunch at the on site restaurant, great food, and Yolanda, our server, was efficient and very cheerful. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning.

Great vacation spot
Will definitely stay there again. The pools were great and they brought us ice water as we were soaking in the sun. The room was awesome! We didn't expect to have a separate bedroom, the balcony was my favorite part of the room.

great family resort!
This was our spring break trip and we wanted to go to a resort where we could relax and our 7 year old would have a great time as well. The Kierland accomplished that brilliantly. Our daughter loved the pools (the one at the villas and the other at the hotel). The hotel and villas had various kids activities throughout the day. She also enjoyed the kids club and made lots of friends. We got to enjoy the fitness center, tennis, and the spa. In spite of it being spring break with lots of families, the resort always seemed quiet and relaxing. We had a great time and will definitely go back!
