Perfect for Spring Training
Excellent! only downfall is not to close to downtown Scottsdale.

Nice getaway
The only bad thing I can say was there are NO Microwaves in the rooms. Everything was clean and staff was wonderful.

Happening place
We had a great deal due to the start of the off season. The hotel was a little loud very late Saturday night but it is a casino. A very young (21-30) crowd at a loud, packed pool but it was fun. the staff, at every place we were in the hotel was fantastic. our only complaint was that there was very little lighting in our bathroom. the prices seemed to us to be very reasonable on food and drinks including at the pool.

Weekend Woman
Did not feel like a "resort"
I did not feel like I was at a resort at any point in time. The hotel was very nice, that is true, with nice clean rooms and bathrooms. The hotel and restaurant staff were courteous at all times. My dislikes: - Drunk people in the hallway at all times of the day and night. - An alcohol-fueled party at the pool every Saturday and sunday, which sounds fun if you are going there for drinking and more drinking. But if your goal is to stay at the resort for other reasons, this sucks, as you can't have a relaxing afternoon at the pool. - Needs mor restaurant options, the ones there get packed, and you'd have to get in the car to get to the nearest restaurants. - The temporary nigtclub on the bottom floor is a lawsuit waiting to happen with cables running everywhere, non-permanent structures you lean on and the fall on you. And it's bright! No ambiance at all. - The room bathrooms need more hooks to hang your towels. If there ais more than one person in the room, where do they hang their towels if we want to be "ecological"?

In Hotel
Unless you are going there for gambling or a show, don't expect any exciting night life. I do hear they have a shuttle to get to Scottsdale though. Not sure.

Mothers Day Get Away
The room was outstanding, the afternoon at the pool was very entertaining. The buffet was extraordinary as usual. All in all a great time. My wife wanted to relax and thats what she did. The only thing that was an inconveinence was the wait at the buffet, but then what would you expect on Mother Day weekend. Didn't spend much time in the casino.

We had a ladies night at talking stick. The ladies and I really enjoyed the stay. The room was beautiful and the beds where very comfy. We will go back!

Relax and Enjoy!
The staff at this resort went above and beyond to help us! We stayed in the area to visit family near by, and it easy to get on the freeway and get to where we needed to go. Shopping nearby was convenient, my husband loved the resort golf course, and the pool and service was amazing. The other guests were extremely friendly too! We plan to go back to stay in the future!!

Needs better security!!!!
Everything was perfect for my fiances birthday but you can't walk the casino with your swimwear which made it not fun. AND security has major attitude for alcohol tolerance, it was my birthday! We were followed by security all the way to check out and would not release our vehicle because i wasn't wearing my shirt at check out.
