Average weekend

This is supposed to be a resort but the room was similar to any mid-level hotel chain. The staff was helpful when they were around but called down to front desk a couple of times and never had anyone answer ended up having to walk down to the front desk to get my question answered. It is not a good location for me wouldn't be my first choice for my next visit.

Older style hot rooms

The hotel is older and needs an upgrade of modern conveniences. The room size is very good and grounds are fantastic. Unfortunately the water pressure in the shower and the type of shower head needs improving. More critical was the stuffiness and lack of adequate air conditioning. We live in Arizona and we don't travel to Scottsdale in July with 110 temps to be in a room that just won't cool down even when the set at 60. While the food at the hotel might be phenomenal it was way over priced.

A Great Night Away

This hotel is amazing for a nice cocktail at the pool, very relaxing. Friendly staff. Pool stays open all night! I would only request extra toiletries for the amount of people staying in a room!!! Otherwise I will definitely stay again!

Exceeded Expectations

Only had 2 1/2 days, and the hotel made the difference. Nearby golfing, shopping and dining was great - both north and south on Scottsdale Road. The complimentary bikes were nice and fun. Rooms were clean and large. Pool was heated and wonderful, along with a nice, large hot tub. The pool bar outside was perfect. "Room Service" delivered to the pool patio for brunch was a nice treat. Complimentary coffee and juice bar exceeded expectations. Overall - great. Will stay there again. THX!

Great Staff

Hotel Staff was great! The bar in the hotel closed at 11pm but they stayed open later to accommodate myself and a few of my friends in town. There was also a very cool setting outside of the main lobby that had a big fire pit that me and my friends were able to hang out by without any disruptions. As far as the rooms go, they were decent but the hotel had an older feeling to it making some of the decor seem a bit outdated but besides that rooms were pretty standard in comparison to others in the price range.

Affordable comfort

We selected the Scottsdale Resort at the last minute and were very pleased. The resort is newly renovated and they did a nice job. We dined at their lounge a couple of times, the service and food were both excellent. The had billiards tables at no charge and my husband kicked my butt about 10 times. We stayed in the Casitas where they had a seperate pool, it was heated and a wonderful place to spend out SUnday afternoon. The golf course is right behind the resort, so were were able to watch some golfers while sunning and swimming.
