Good Location read the fine print
Read the fine print, the initial room rates are very low which was the initial reason I chose this property, however you will have to pay an additional $15 dollars per night for normal amenities such as wireless internet.

affordable luxury
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and fast. I enjoyed the beds, down comforters and walking on the desert trail around the property. There is a beautiful view of Camelback Mountain and plenty of birds, quail and rabbits to enjoy. They have winter rye grass that is immaculate and luscious green and a treat for winter visitors. Definitely stay here when visiting Scottsdale. A great value!

Out West
needs a little face lift
we were up graded which was a surprise and we were grateful. the decor is a bit dated, the blinds on the patio door was missing a blind which allowed the sun to come through, the coffee maker had water deposits and I scrubed them out before I could make a cup of coffee, internet in rooms was not fast, very slow unless you used the lobby computer. great location for visiting museums and tourists locations.

pricing seemed a bit high, but I was told "you are in Scottsdale", some of the local eateries, like "Rubio" was very tasty, and "Upside Down".

good value
The only gripe I have is the bath tub(rusted by the overflow and drain) needed some attention and the hot water ran out of quickly. It was fine for a shower not a long soak!

Quiet Get Away
My room was clean and quiet. The bed was amazing! The pools and hot tubs were nice, and there were plenty of beds to lay out on. The location is fabulous-couldn't have been better. It's within 10 minutes of amazing hiking trails, shopping, eating, and just 20 minutes from the airport. I got to hike up Camelback, relax in the hot tub, and go shopping all in one afternoon! There was a resort fee of $15 that they don't tell you about at the beginning, but they refunded me when I checked out and brought my keys back. I gave the overall rating 3 stars because that's what the resort is. It's not 4 stars. It's a nice getaway, and it had a more homey feel to it. Signs showed a lot of weathering, and the grounds needed updating. It wasn't pristine, but it was relaxing and beautiful.

Cottonwoods
I really enjoyed myself. It is in a central location just north of old town and south of Scottsdale Commons. Great golf area and there are several close restaurants. Starbucks is across the street and walgreens is next door so anything you could need is within walking distance. Unfortunately for me they had just renovated the putting green so I was unable to use it. Had it been ready during my stay this would have been a 5 star perfect experience but that would have been to good to be true. Decent resort, great price....very satisfied!
