Perfect romantic getaway
I have only stayed visited Arizona once, but after staying at this resort, I am already planning another return trip. The pictures on the website do not do any justice. Pros: -Bedroom: tempur-pedic bed, no heavy/tacky comforters, plenty of fluffy pillows -Bathroom: his/her sink, elongated shower, extra large bathtub -Living Room: comfortable L-shaped couche, 4-seater dinner table, full-sized fridge, microwave, plates/utencils/etc, comfortable outdoor patio furniture Cons: -Living Room: no stove, the patio area was not as private as expected

Great place, if you like walking!
Beautiful room, nice view, great value. My only caution is that the parking situation is horrid - you've got to walk up to 1/3 mile to get from the parking lot to many of the rooms. As an exercise buff, I had no problem with this, and they do have golf carts to take you, if you're willing to wait for them. Pool and facilities are lovely.

Spacious suite
The units are spacious with large living room, bathroom and patio. The only negative is the distance from the parking lot to the rooms. The hotel does offer golf cart shuttles, but it's a bit of a hazzle.

Great Place to stay!
Always a great stay. I go for baseball and golfing at the resort. Only bad thing is parking and the long walk to the room.

Great Room, Long Walk
The suite was fantastic. Large, clean and well furnished. It had a great view of the golf course with a patio to sit out on. We golfed at the course which was very nice. The only negative to this resort was the parking and if you have a problem walking any distance this is huge. I read this before I went but thought people were exaggerating. They were not. I am a relatively young person, in shape and I would say the walk to my room each day was about one mile as I was in building 8 the last one in the complex. No matter what building you are in it is a long walk. That was if you could find a place to park there. If not you had to park by the front of the hotel which added probably another block. Put your track shoes on. They do have bell hops to shuttle your luggage for you and if you want to call them they do leave their number for you but I'm sure they want a tip every time they come and transport you anywhere. I did not see this happening much.

Barry the fussy!
OK...BUT!!
Problems started with reguested room type not available when we arrived. The desk said they'd have one the next day so we didn't unpack...next day, same story. When we finally got the right room we experienced hot water problems, ranging from barely warm to, eventually, none at all....requiring us to take a shower in another (vacant) room. The maintenance people worked for DAYS repairing the boiler that supplied our room! Needless to say, we were never able to enjoy the whirlpool tub!The other thing that was disapointing (though we were aware of it beforehand) is the lack of a restaurant and bar on the premises. The other major "Pain in the [*]" was the parking! Come home after 8 pm and you'd have to park in the golf club lot...a LONG way from your room. And, if you DID get parked in a decent spot, when you come out in the morning you'd find a car parallel parked behind you so that you had to wiggle back and forth for 5 minutes to get out!Aside from all that, the rooms are very large and comfortable (notwithstanding that the shower heads are WAY to low for a tall person!) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager ([...]) was bery understanding about our problems and was good enough to offer some free nights next year as compensation for our troubles.

Fabulous!
The overall stay was very pleasant and more than what I expected. I, however was a little angered when I checked in late at night and the girls at the desk never offered the bell man to ride me to my room. The rooms are very far from the registration desk. I checked in at 1am and I had to walk all the way to my room. I never knew I had the option for them to take me. The room was beautiful. The staff was nice. Great experience. Will stay here again.
