Top Notch

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding, helpful, friendly. I wish I could have stayed a few more days. I didn't get to take advantage of all they had to offer. I'll seek out this property first on my next visit to Scottsdale.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

I asked for the front desk to call a cab so I could go out for the evening, they gave me a ride instead. I was briefed on some good food and nightlife and was delivered there by a friendly bell captain.

Spring Training getaway

Grounds were very nice . Staff did not make you feel welcome , more of a burden . We got there at 2:30 to check in . We were told our room wasn't ready , They were going to get room ready next. they would call us when room was ready. We waited in lobby area thinking it would take about around 1/2 hour . At 4:00 we went to front desk to ask about the room and still wasn't ready. About 4:10 the front desk got the call saying the room was ready . We waited 15 more minutes ,then we went back to the desk and asked about our room , it was ready . We were in visible sit the whole time . Not the best way to start our trip. Got to our room and the room was worn down , needed lots of updating . Carpets were worn down , holes and tears in them as well. View was great , best part of the room. Bathrooms were small as well.

Disappointed

Upon checkin, there was only one person to assist behind the front desk. When she called for assistance as there were 12 people in line, it took over 10 minutes for help to arrive. Tried to eat at the restaurant for dinner and no one was available to seat us, then when someone arrived, they did not ask us if we wanted to sit in the restaurant, the bar, or outside. They just walked away and then came back about 5 minutes later. We left and went somewhere else for dinner. Very disappointed! The management needs to train the staff in public relations!
