Mid-century modern getaway in downtown Scottsdale
Relax, play, indulge -- orders easily filled in Scottsdale's mid-century modern getaway. A 2005 renovation artfully restored this beauty to hipness once enjoyed by Bing Crosby, Marilyn Monroe, and other glamorous Hollywood types. Six two-story buildings and a seven-story tower wrap around an hourglass and martini glass-shaped pool. Guests get pampered or stay fit at VH Spa. They also drink down libations at the Oh Pool Bar. Great place to spend a weekend
Stayed here for 4 nights in April. Great location for walking around old town and to Fasion Mall. Easy access to major roadways to get to other parts of Pheonix. Close to lots of good eats. Nice rooms. Very friendly staff. The pool area is great; my one complaint is that they allow non-hotel guests to enter the pool area every day except Saturdays, which I think takes away from it's value to the hotel guests who pay good money for it. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Great experience
Hotel staff was friendly and very attentive. Delia helped us from the get go in getting a room since our flight landed so early. Although we couldn't get in ASAP, she made sure to keep in communication and let us know when we could come check in. Location is great - within walking distance of great restaurants, shops and other vacation necessities like a convenience store, nail salon, etc. The hotel had a mix of types of travelers from couples and families to party groups. They seem to be able to balance the differences - including calming down the party crowd late night so guests can sleep. So yes, we did happen to room next to a party group. Our room was great and I wanted to steal the bathtub for sure. I needed 4 extra pillows due to my back and instead of dragging their feet like most hotels they sent them right up. The value of the hotel was great for peak season so all the guests for the wedding we were in town for stayed there. It made for a great meet up and happy hour spot because the surroundings are so fun. Pool staff was also great - friendly and fast! We will be back for sure...

Old Tortilla factory is across the street and they can manage large parties - patio is awesome too! Also, we ate at Grazie. Great for a quick bite, manager was so nice and pizza was yummy.

Terrific Couples Get Away Weekend
My wife and I traveled over to Phoenix and met another couple from Texas. We had a great time. The hotel is very unique but still comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the location is ideal. We walked to breakfast in old Scottsdale each morning. Even ZuZU, the hotel restaurant, was great. Having stayed in the traditional Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott type properties many, many times. This is a great fresh stay that will stand out!

Would stay again, loved it!
We did not get the room that was stated on our itinerary, but after going to the front desk and stating our problem (and my husband in his assertive voice) we got the room we signed up for.

Weekend Escape to warm weather
Great couples get-a-way! Entire staff courtious and friendly. Perfect location to Scottsdale night life and amazing restaurants. Highly recommend the Valley Ho!

Hotel Review of Valley Ho
I thought the staff went out of their way to be accomidating. The room was very nice and accented well. The tub was huge even though we didn't use it. The facilities were excellent as well.

Hotel Valley Ho is a wonderful place to stay in Scottsdale. Very convenient and centrally located in between the mall, old town, and near many restaurants and nightlife. This is the second time staying at the hotel and we loved the quality and hospitality that we received while here.

Great place...Great time
The pool area...pool bar was great. Friendly staff. Great service.. Well maintained. Just overall very good We had a Cabana room right at pool level. Had it's own little patio that was great to sit out and people watch.. Relax and read the paper in the morning. Catch some sun. One of the best places I have ever stayed at in Scottsdale
