Epicurean style at boutique hotel in Old Town Scottsdale
This boutique hotel is in the center of Old Town Scottsdale. The location is prime for urban adventures, and the hotel is a refreshing departure from everyday accommodations. Awaken in a Desert Dream bed. Savor a Starbucks in the European-like Golden Bean Cafe before heading out to shop and return for a nightcap on the sixth floor terrace. There's a pool (it's Arizona!) and a fully-outfitted fitness room.
Highlights
  • Complimentary on-site covered parking
  • Complimentary hotel-wide Wi-Fi, business center, and shuttle service within three-mile radius
  • Lobby cafe with Starbucks coffee

Rooms

The 117 guest rooms and nine suites are cozy, airy, chic habitats. Forget industrial carpeting and mundane fixtures. Embrace posh appointments for the style-minded: oversized beds, throw pillows, area rugs. Say "Amen" to built-in, ergonomic work stations, inspired lighting, spa-like showers, 32-inch TVs, and commissioned art murals. Guests can share the cool with friends in the standard spacious foyer and set it to music via stereo with subwoofer and media ports.

Dining

The Golden Bean Cafe is a funky restaurant space with an adjoining sixth floor terrace. It has Starbucks coffee and hot breakfasts in the morning. It transforms into the lounge-like Divine Lounge and Terrace toward evening -- fire pit included. Breakfast is served all day. The lunch and dinner menu includes panini, pizzettas, salads, and desserts, such as chocolate fondue.

Recreation

Full spa packages and services are available at nearby Lamar Everyday Spa. There's a courtyard pool and hotel-wide Wi-Fi. An up-to-date fitness area has aerobic and anaerobic equipment with personalized viewing stations.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at

TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!! We were in town for our son's wedding and booked, thinking we would be at a relaxing boutique hotel. Boy were we wrong...this was the noisiest and classless hotel we have ever stayed in. During the week it is as expected but when the weekend arrives it is for the young, loud, drunken and ready to 'hook up" crowd. At 2:30 in the morning we woke up to Security and the police kicking a female out of the hotel for walking out on a bar bill. We spoke to many unhappy guests unable to find a parking spot near the hotel, because the spots were taken by the bar crowd. (That the Hotel sells all the parking spots to the bar crowd), Sunday (Mother's Day) was just as bad with a noisy Techno DJ at the pool with outside guests with wrist bands allowed to take over the pool. We couldn't even relax by the pool ON A SUNDAY!!! Don't stay here unless you like noise and like to party!

Nightlife tip: In Hotel

Unless you are under 25 I would not stay here, this is a hook up Hotel. With very thin walls, and a very rude staff. Did forget to tell that this Hotel does like mold in their showers.

Weekend Getaway

Great place to just getaway and relax! Hotel is very modern looking and comfortable. Nice pool area, great little bar/restaurant with outdoor seating. The location was fantastic, just a 15 minute walk to the Fashion Square Mall. Hotel is surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants, which is nice but noise can be heard most of the night. The hotel does provide you with complimentary ear plugs, which I thought was hilarious! Other than that great place to stay, would definitely go back!!

great modern place to stay

Had a great time, perfect location if you enjoy shopping and night life. Some of the best places to eat in town are also very close by. The hotel itself has large modern rooms and a great casual, friendly staff.

modern, quiet

Hotel was clean, modern and enjoyable. Not much of a view from any direction, ours was of the back parking lot and dumpster. Hotel offers free covered parking. No mini fridge or microwave in room which was a bust and unfortunate for our week long stay. The firepit on the patio was a nice touch in he spring.

You get use to it...

We were expecting something a little different. The pictures do not really represent the hotel. We did enjoy our stay. The bartenders was very pleasent and treated us very well. If you want to party every nite, then this is the place to be.

Three words: Outdoor Fire Pit.

The hotel was simply amazing. Great rooms, very clean and comfortable all around. Staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Dillon was a great personality to have behind the bar. And the most amazing element of all was the Fire Pit in the outside patio. It was a plus and probably the reason I'd go back.
