Great Value!
YoungMidwestCouple Dec 14, 2009
This hotel has a great value for the money! It had a lot of things for us to do (Pool, hot tub, tennis, etc.) The things we ... enjoyed the most were the free cook to order breakfast and the pool side happy hour, which was also free. We had a great experience and the staff was very freindly. We have already reccomended this hotel to friends and we will be back.

Reliable Home base for Phoenix visit
Sutil Dec 11, 2009
Border between Scottsdale & Tempe not the most interesting part of greater Phoenix, but it served our needs. Room was well ... isolated from traffic noise and room service excellent. Access to Old Town Scottsdale and Phoenix Mountain Park fairly short, and airport connection convenient (except during rush hours).

MISLEADING AVERAGE RATING ALERT!!!
Love being Mom Dec 9, 2009
Visiting family in Tempe, the hotel was very near their home, that was good. But when I told them where it was they said ... "I'm sorry". I was surprised by that because we'd read so many reviews that said the location was great. In proximity to ASU and major freeways, yes. But, there is a bar next door and even some strip clubs on the street. The hotel restaurant was sub-par. The cleaning and staff was just okay, the decor was out-of-date, and rooms have a "hotel-y" smell. I did feel safe there, even with little ones, and the beds were comfortable enough to sleep in. I gave a less than average rating because 4 1/2 stars (the average rating when I booked this hotel) was misleading.

Ugly Hotel
Glassblower Dec 4, 2009
My wife and I stayed for a week. If not prepaid, we would have left immediately after entering our room. It smelled musty. ... Friends who came to pick us up walked in and immediately walked out after saying that the place smelled badly. The hotel had placed an antique ozone machine in the room that made a racket. The shower leaked quite a bit of water, the HVAC was noisy, the cheap window allowed exterior noise to penetrate almost as if there was no glass and the room was small. [...]

Thanksgiving in Phoenix 2009
Mariamar Nov 30, 2009
All in all, a great stay. I love that the room has some kitchen facilities and the staff is always great every time I stay ... there. Spent a couple of hours in the hot tub one night and it looked like it could use a cleaning but not bad enough to make us get out. Hard to find food around after 11pm, but the bar is friendly and sportsy and great for meeting up for a drink after a day out.

Great hotel even greater value!
[@] Nov 26, 2009
I posted this review by accident for another hotel we stayed at in LA. This is the hotel in Scottsdale we loved! Hotel was ... great. Friendly staff, very prompt Guest services! Happy hour with free drinks, great pools for the kids, Free Breakfast for 4! Are you kinding REAL breakfast, Eggs, bacon, and hash browns. French toast... Awesome value here families! Pull out queen sofa is uncomfortable but that is my only complaint. If your looking for a five diamond resort this is NOT the place, if you are looking for one hell of a value for a family, then this IS your place.

May or may not be what you expect
Whale Nov 26, 2009
Please, read carefully to get right expectations from this hotel. It does not look like a 3-star property, it was never ... intended to be and did not have this kind of investment. Molel-style rooms are rather small. The furniture, walls and carpet are not 3-star. The property is non-smoking, but the smell of the air freshener in the room was quite strong and irritating. However, it was really great to have a fully equipped kitchen. We were able to cook home-style quality food, which is well appreciated. The included breakfast was also impressive, full-service, hot and was of good quality. Great service, frendly, professional staff. The biggest problem was actually the climate control. The ventilator was quite noisy. Despite of cold nights, there was no heating in the room, we had to take some extra measures to keep our baby warm in the morning. For all that, the hotel is not bad it worth the price. You just need to know what to expect.

I loved the fact that it was so close to the airport. If not for the construction on Scottsdale Road, it takes less than 20 minutes to get to Hospitality Suites from the airport.
--Ms. Wells, Ocean Township, NJ Jul 23, 2009
Hotel provides shuttle to and from airport. There is also an Enterprise car rental place very close by that will pick you up from the hotel. Renting a car away from the airport is cheaper, and you still have transportation to the hotel!
