Courtyard by Marriott Scottsdale North

Tiffany was fantastic the last 2 times I stayed there. She remembered my name and room preference. I will definitly stay here everytime I come to Scottsdale!

Had a great stay here. It's close to top quality shopping, friends, food, and the remodel of the hotel is great. Very attractive place, amazing firm beds, and very very clean. A major upgrade from those aging Courtyards a year or so back. Looks more like an "A Loft" or "Hotel W".

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Great local pizza delivery, too. Close to Taliesin West, major highways for easy access, shopping, and dining. Clean rooms. Remodeling was underway. Breakfast buffet was very good; very courteous waitress. Good value for the money.

Excellent customer service, hotel computers are slower than a pack of turtles in molasses on a cold day, but I was able to get my boarding pass printed in about 5 minutes. All the bedding was fresh!

We were in Scottsdale for a funeral and we chose this Marriott because it was close to family and I am a Marriott rewards member. We stay at the Marriott fairly often - at least 4-6 times a year, if not more, and have come to depend on getting a decent room. Marriott is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and we are willing to pay a bit more for quality. Unfortunately, this Marriott was sub-par. The furniture in the room was old, the room itself was a bit stinky, the a/c was very loud, the walls terribly thin, we could easily hear our neighbors in the next room and we were woken up repeatedly during the night by slamming doors, people talking in the halls, etc., and worst of all, the tub did not drain. The problem with a tub that doesn't drain is that you generally don't realize this until you're all unpacked and settled in. Your only recourse is to have a maintenance person come and disturb your stay or move to another room. We were not in the mood to deal with either one of these options. The free wi-fi at this location was a bonus. The price for breakfast was ridiculous - go to the Village Inn right next door for a more economical, similar quality breakfast. Overall, I was disappointed with this particular Marriott and regret staying here. Considering the quality of the room, we could have saved some money and stayed somewhere else - for example, the Days Inn a few miles down the street.

Have stayed there before and it is still very clean and nice. Good location for me.

The pool was nice and they had free wireless internet which we enjoyed very much. They serve breakfast in the morning but they overcharge for it and the fare is substandard. We ate out for breakfast and got much better food for less money. It was also a little noisy even in the wee hours of the morning.

Great location, clean city, close to great restuarants
