Nice Get-Away
The room was clean and nicely furnished. We had a King bed, it was quite comfortable. The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming. The lady in the gift shop was on a personal phone call and never greeted me, she was complaining about the hotel. The cooked to order breakfast was fantastic, something for everyone. Our bedroom window unfortunately faced the street and we heard sirens and a motorcycle revving its engine at the traffic light through the night. The pool was refreshing, the fountain and flowers were very pretty. Just several blocks away from Old Town Scottsdale, lots of great shops. The farmers market was also a nice venue to walk through. I would go back.

Very enjoyable experience
I was in town for work by myself, and was able to find plenty of things to do during my off time, whether it was shopping, relaxing by the pool, catching a baseball game at the 4th story grill, or enjoying the many bars and clubs right up the street. Although the hotel was packed, the line for breakfast was never long and the noise level was kept to a minimum. I would recoomended the hotel for people travelling alone, with golfing buddies, or with their entire family.

Great Location and services
The staff and room were above expectations. The daily morning breakfast was great and was included in the price. Parking was a bit of a challenge if there was a function on at this hotel but manageable. Daily newspaper at the door, warm pools, on site restaurant.........doesn't get much better!

Scottsdale retreat
Hotel was clean and well staffed. Rooms were large and the free breakfast was a nice perk. There are a large number of conference rooms here for business along with the usual winter activities in Scottsdale. I would book here again.

Very particular about bedding and after five restful and comfortable nights of sleep I hated to leave. The beauty of the courtyard with pool and tranquil sound of water fountain was picture perfect. Great hot, made to order breakfast, with many choices.

Lots of Amenities
Only stayed here two nights but had a nice time. The hotel is not brand new but it is nice. The room was bigger than I expected. Had new up to date tvs etc... but the best part was the amenities! News paper in the morning, cooked to order breakfast AND popcorn/soda/cocktails in the evening for a few hours. I didnt use the pool but it was sparking and enticing.

Perfect for a family getaway
The room and hotel were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. I was very pleased with the layout and amenities. It is an older hotel, but very well maintained. It also has a very good restaurant on premises. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and there is a free computer room available in case you forget your laptop. My only complaint is insufficient parking.

Could be more updated
Given the high ratings on the travel sites, I was expecting a nicer, more modern room that is more in line with other hotels in the area. Square footage of the room and living area were good as well as the location. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Hotel is at the point where decor needs to be refreshed. Some examples: small LCD television in the front room but still a tube television in the bedroom, color schemes and framed pictures are also better suited for the 1990s. Good value but you only get what you pay for.
