Amenity-laden Scottsdale boutique hotel next to El Dorado Park
The hotel 3 Palms is just two miles from downtown Scottsdale and is both convenient and opulent. Chic decor touches include padded headboards and handpicked modern art. There is a concierge and tour planning services. High-end room amenities include pillow-top mattresses, free Internet, and DVD and CD players with surround sound. Guests eager for outdoor recreation can spend the day next door at 60-acre El Dorado Park. Great value!
Suited us very well. The room had everything we needed, was clean with comfortable beds. Bonuses included a pool & spa & access to a washing machine with free detergent. Cannot think of any negatives but would suggest visitors open the cupboards to find a microwave, fridge & safe which we didn't find on the first night.

Horrified Honeymooners
WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!
My husband and I stayed at this so called resort for our anniversary weekend. The first night when we were in the in-room jacuzzi tub and turned on the jets, we noticed a brown slime like material settling on the water and were soon completely surrounded by it. It was disgusting! The next morning we went to the office and told the girl at the front desk what had happened and she told us "ok, go pack up and we'll move you to another room". She was totally unapologetic and didn't offer anything other than a new room. So we moved to another room, and that night when we got into the jacuzzi tub and turned on the jets- IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL!!! Having the in room hot tub was the whole reason we chose to stay at this place to begin with. At 6:30 the next morning, I went to tell the front desk about the problem with the new room, and she handed me the manager's business card and told me to come back at noon to speak with him. That's just what I did, and he was less than hospitable about it. At first he offered to give us a free night's stay. I told him we weren't planning on staying there ever again, and asked for a refund of at least one night & he agreed to do that. He had a terrible attitude for someone in the HOSPITALITY industry, which explains the terrible l service we received from the rest of the hotel staff. Don't waste your time or money at this place!!

Great place

Our stay at 3 palms
Our stay at 3 Palms was very comfortable. The room was very cozy and clean. There was only a couple of things that we were not to happy about with 3 Palms which are very minimum. The refrigerator was not working we didn't realize it was broken until the next morning when all of our snacks was warm. And there was no towels in the fitness center, and house keeping would not accommodate us, they told me to go to the office that was all the way in the front so our without was cut short. Overall we had a nice stay. We will be back.

Felt Safe
This hotel was very clean, white bedding, comfortable beds. The bathrooms were clean and although there was a small amount of peeling paint in the shower area, it was very clean. The area had a grocery store as well as eating out options. Close to freeways. There are no frills like continental breakfast or noticeable vending machines. The air conditioner worked well, but had a small water leak under the unit. They are very fast at correcting any needed repair.

Walk a bit to some of the eating options. I did not like the bistro next to the hotel as it added meat to my vegetarian meal , and was very expensive.
