Econo Lodge Prescott

Clean, economical. However.....: Lighting is poor with 25 watt bulbs (are they afraid someone will steal the 60 watt bulbs???); mattress foundation well-broken in, with left side in a 4" depression that makes sleep problematic; mattress tends to slide off foundation. Soft drink macfhine out-of-order (perpetual?). Pretty much standard for what you get at the bottom pricng tier in non-descript chain motels

Good price for short stay. Considering a taxi ride was only 10 bucks from whiskey row

No frills, but clean spacious room. The heater in my room wasn't cranking out enough heat. I'm sure I could have changed rooms if I had wanted to, Coffee, juice, toast and danish in the lobby in the a.m. I would stay there again. You can't beat the value, truly.

Wanted a cheap place to sleep after a wedding reception. Cheapest place was Econolodge. I had read that the rooms were clean and it was a decent location. That's all we were looking for. But when we got in, we had a monstrous bed, a nice table and chairs we could actually use, there was a fridge & microwave (and no, not everybody has those), and agreed, nice and clean. We passed numerous other hotels/motels on way down to Whiskey Row, and they were dumps, and I know they were more expensive than what we were paying. We were only a mile from Whiskey Row. Even if I had decided to drink, a taxi would have been but $5 to get us home. Just an outstanding deal. Will do it again for sure.

since it rained the whole time i had a short walk to everything else i could do. the location was on a straight line which meant easy excess which means a great deal to me.

The service was terrible, but the room was okay...however I think there could be better rooms/hotels for the same price.

The customer service was pretty good - guy behind the desk was very friendly, helpful. Unfortunately though, there is really no other way to describe this place than as a dive. The room was dingy and old, as was the outward appearance of the place. I couldn't take a shower, had to take a bath, because the water wouldn't come up through the shower head. I could have spent an extra $15 and stayed at the Hampton Inn, which is what I should have done.

I was there because my band was playing on whiskey row. Clean, both in appearance and scent. If you are looking for frills and elegance...not the place. Comfy, inexpensive and great location.

It was a good stay for the money. Rooms are older but in very good shape.

I was in Prescott to attend a printmaking workshop, so picked this place to stay because it was reasonably priced and close to Yavapai College. The room was quiet and large, and had clearly been recently refurbished so the bed was comfy and the heater worked. However, it was also clear that things like the frig and microwave were the cheapest possible and were already working poorly. There was no clock and no coffee maker, and the breakfast really was dreadful. I had read an earlier review saying the same thing, so I came prepared with my own cereal and walked next door to a Circle K for milk and coffee.
