not the Ritz Carlton I used to know
Average is the word! From hair in the two orders at breakfast time to having to wait for hours to get a second bath robe a 2 pairs of slippers and a mini-fridge the Ritz Carlton (at least in Phoenix) has lost any elegance it used to have! Good check in, but lacking in staff training when it comes to house keeping and services. To be fair: Great valet service and courtesy! I grew up in the Ritz Manalapan in Florida, before Marriott bought majority in the Ritz Carlton Group. How things have changed! It really is too bad...Not again!

Nothing Special
Certainly not a resort Hotel. At our $199/night its a fair value for where we wanted to be located. It's a nice place to sleep and visit the area, as we planned. But it would be lousy if you're looking for the "resort experience". There wasn't even a pool boy - what is the Ritz world coming too?
