About what could be expected.

I arrived and found out that a default had set me up in a smoking room. I was able to work with the register and get a non smoking room. The Lobby entry smelled like mildew and stale beer. The room was nice and fit the discription. Windows overlook the freeway and the noise can be a distraction. I think the best feature was the rooms were well cleaned everyday.

Doesn't get much worse than this

We were in Phoenix for the RocknRoll marathon. Our room was very disappointing. Towels were as thin as the ones found in a mechanics shop, mold floating in the coffee pot and the owners were not friendly at all. They were either watching TV, eating, or just ignored the fact you were there. They did not want to be bothered to check in, get more towels (so thin you needed several) or checking out. It was a good thing they had hired help.

No Frills Stay

The hotel is set back away from the main street. Very dated hotel, no remote control in the room and the air conditioner took almost 2 hours to finally cool the room. Superstart breakfast was anything but super. You get what you pay for.

Great for quick stop in Phoenix

This place was a great place for a one-night stopover in Phoenix. We stayed here on our way from the Grand Canyon to San Diego on a road trip. Definitely a good value for the money since the room was a decent size (even had a small refrigerator) and was well maintained for as cheap as the room was. It is about 5 to 10 miles west of downtown Phoenix and the intersection of I-10 and I-17 so it is a convenient location and the motel is right off of I-10. They advertise breakfast, but it is really minimal so don't book based on the "extras". Parking wasn't an issue for us although it seemed to be a popular stopoff for truck drivers as there were a bunch of them in the lot. The motel itself is slightly difficult to find (the entrance is down what appears to be a backstreet) but just look for the Super 8 signs in front of the driveway/parking lot and get directions beforehand. Overall, I'd say for a one or two night stay, definitely worth the money!

Super 8 Phoenix

Was a new Hotel. Was a great place to stay. Lots of Trucks, but they had there own parking. Would stay again.
