Good value
Even with the construction on the first floor, the staff made sure it lived up to its billing. They had made arrangements for the closed fitness to use the one next door. Room clean each time we returned after a day out.

Fun in the Sun
Our hotel stay was outstanding! We did not want to leave! The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating! The room was very clean and we loved the amenities. We also liked its location; it was very close to family and other sites we wanted to visit during our stay.

Multiple restaurant choices available which are short drive from hotel. We even ordered pizza via telephone and it was delivered right to our hotel room in a timely manner.

Fantastic Family Getaway
My family and I traveled to Phoenix for the Grand Canyon University 2011 graduation ceremonies. My husband, our three children, and I traveled together. The hotel was clean and comfortable and done up in the children's favorite colors, which was in itself, a warm welcome. We mainly rested, but also enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Several other graduates were at the hotel as well, which also made for a truly positive experience. Although it doesn't have a number of bells and whistles, it offers a comfortable and clean environment for some much needed rest and relaxation.

There is an amusement park right across the street! Although we did not have time to enjoy it, there were several other families who said it was worth the short jaunt. It may be possible to walk there, but the frontage road for the freeway ia right there, too; so be careful! :) And have fun. :)

Hotel Queen
Spacious Double Queen with Sofa Queen
I was in town to attend a funeral, The staff was very professional, I had toilet issues both days and had to get service, but the service was quick and resolved issue both days.

Great friendly staff
WE came into Phoenix to attend a wedding in Chandler on the 11th and then a family event on the 12th in Waddell, both at the opposite ends of the Phoenix area, the hotel put us in a central location for both events.The staff was very courteous and helpful during our stay. The only thing that could have been improved was the air conditioner which was very loud and disturbing when trying to sleep. Cost for the room was very good compared to the other hotels we checked in surrounding area. Another problem is finding as hotel that is pet friendly, which this one is not.

great location for the price
My first time in Phoenix and I have to say that the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful! The rooms are very comfortable, but I would have liked some type of dresser with drawers to put away clothes you don't hang. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Definitely check out First Watch restaurant! Great breakfast and lunch menu, and it's just a really short walk from the hotel.

issues
very poor housekeeping: couch unmade, no soap shampoo, etc...no bedding for pull out had to go back to desk about 3-4 times within first hour of the stay...6-8 long hairs on shower wall, (i have a crew cut)... cureently (day after stay) trying to undo multiple charges for the room, hotel not very efficient in getting this done...

WOnderful staff; very clean; nice place.
Phoenix, itself, is not a pedestrian-friendly place. So, the hotel, like everything else was located off a freeway. One could not simply walk to a close-by store or mailbox. It's impossible to get around without a GPS tracking system & a vehicle.

Irate Father
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!
When we arrived at 1:30 AM with 7 kids, our rooms had been given away, eventhough I had pre-paid with my American Express. I was told that the hotel had been overbooked and that I "probably" wouldn't be charged a fee from [...]! And they couldn't help me find another room.
