Summer Getaway
Maybe it was because it was their slow season but the Royal Palm did not live up to it's reputation. Rooms were in need of some updating (carpet frayed and worn, shower head leaked and sprayed in all directions, etc). Understanding it is a resort but come on, $6 for a beer? Very overpriced! Staff was very attentive. Jose at the pool rocked this place! Always had our water glasses filled, umbrella moved, dry towels, etc. He needs to be recognized by management. All in all we had a good time but not feeling like the value was there compared to some other newer resorts in the area. Spa was great however. Maybe that is the saving grace for the Palms. Sasha was outstanding!

No worries!
I had been looking at this hotel for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to visit. It was beautiful and all pics on the website reflected the place perfectly. The staff was very helpful in all areas. We even got a room upgrade and the room was away from hotel traffic, and so quiet during the evenings. I would travel back there anytime. One thing that would be great is to bring some of your own food and water. I noticed some people at the pool brought their own and I learned why, there is no close place to grab water if you do not have a car. The staff at the pool made sure you always had water but we went on a hikeand had none to bring with us There is none for purchase either. My friend and I were so happy and relaxed and would love to go back.

Ultimate Spa Vacation
My sister and I made this trip to visit relatives in the area and decided to stay here so we could also schedule some "spa time". We were not disappointed. This is truly one of the best resorts we have been to. The entire staff made us feel so welcome. Our six night stay seemed too short. We will be going back!!

Beautiful setting!!!
My wife and I spent a long weekend here before attending a business conference. Stayed in a Designer Casita and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the spa and partook of deep tissue massage. Ate at TCooks multiple times and were satisfied with each meal. I recommend the lamb, my wife recommends the duck. Creme brûlée cheesecake did not disappoint. The care we experienced at the pool was the best ever! The setting is beautiful. Endless delight in new nooks and crannys, fountains, and antiquities. We left relaxed and happy!

fantastic getaway
While I was only there for 1 night; I went to the pool and hot tub several times. I had dinner and breakfast at T. Cooks which was very good. The accomodations were excellent. I had a casita with a large outdoor patio and overall the room was very comfortable and nicely designed.

Most Horrid Experience
Stayed their for a business event. The staff was rude and spied on you. I was staying after the event and out of the Blue at 12.30 pm - I get a call from the front desk if I needed help with my luggage. I was basically kicked out of the hotel. You couldn't pay me to recommend this hotel -

Awesome place to stay!!
OMG!!! Arizona is soo beautiful. We stayed at Royal Palms Resort and Spa and it was spectacular! I mean everything was awesome, from the place we stayed at to the people we came in contact with at the hotel( waiters, valet parker, guest relations) general people at the street. Everyone was kind and very kind and willing to help with anything such as giving directions or where to go to eat or sightsee. We had the best time EVER! the food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. We went shopping in Old Town Scottsdale and Biltmore fashion Park, drove to Sedona for a day and got to see amazing views. Went to Oak Creek Canyon where there was beautiful bubbling brooks. Breathtaking!! It was the best 4 day get away EVER!!
