UGH!

Paid for 4 nights. Showed up the first night 11 pm. The parking lot had 6-7 people hanging out drinking and talking loud. The room had a broken bathroom window, run down and the TV did not work. Got into bed and was woken up 3 times during the night. The police came twice and the people in the lot scattered. After police left, they came back. Dreadful experience. Mike Mott DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Checked out the next am and asked for refund of remaining 3 nights.

On 4Square as Ho-Walk lol

Neighborhood=BAD, Hotel and Staff=GREAT. Listen the place is directly across the street from a Mental Hospital (that REPORTEDLY 'dumps' their patients to L.A. by buying them a one-way bus ticket to Hollywood) and working girls are in the area, so the neighborhood is not too swell after dark. Actually, once you get past the poor souls wandering the street with hospital gowns, the day time is O.k. But I spent LESS than $ 40.00, was checked in by a friendly guy in like 5 minutes and the room was close by. 1st thing, HOT. Arizona hot !! 90 degree NIGHTTIME HOT. The room was hot and stuffy. The newer room a/c blasted the temp to the 70s in minutes. There was no bad smell as others say, no roaches or vermin scurrying around and everything was neat and tidy. Yeah, CRT TV, but newer one, bigger screen and clear picture. OK towels, clean sheets and clean rug. BAD- no smoking room but shower curtain thin bed spread had over 15 cigarette burn holes in it. NO BLANKET. Pillows were very small. All in all, very good value, nice place, if it were in any other hood, it'd be a $ 70.00 dollar PLUS room, so don't complain and enjoy the value. ;)

Birthday Weekend

This was the hotel from Tales from the Crypt! I checked in on Friday evening at about six. The first thing that I noticed when I entered the room was an overpowering smell of moldy carpet and cigarettes. I toured the room and noted it was cold, so I turned on the heater which let out a loud noise. I turned it off and turned on the television, which only had one channel in Spanish. I immediately went to the office to complain and the owner told me he did not have any other rooms available and would fix all of my complaints. He sent an employee to fix the television. After which I only received 5 local channels. Because my friends were waiting on me, I figured to address the other issues the next day. I came back to the room at 2 am Saturday morning. I pulled back the blanket to discover that the sheets had brown stains and were wrinkled. I smelled the bed and it smelled of stinky feet. Because of the late hour and my irritation, I decided to sleep in the chair and address the management the next day. When I went to the office and asked for new bed clothes, and indicated I would like to change them myself, the manager said he would have them for me and would take care of the other issues when I got back. When I returned from shopping later that day, no one in the office knew what I was talking about. After getting obnoxious about the filthy room they rented me, I was given another room. Although it was dingy, it at least did not smell as bad and was clean. Lesson learned..... even if I only need to use the room to sleep, I will be going to a highly regarded hotel from now on!
