Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix North/Happy Valley

It's a Residence Inn, so it's good. The location, however, was not ideal for us. It is obviously located for the corporate offices close by - we were there for Spring Training. It worked OK in that we were able to get to the ball game and other activities just fine, but the area surrounding the hotel didn't provide activities other than shopping and didn't allow us to get into the area. We had to drive a half hour to reach the fun stuff.

Excellent stay at this Marriott Residence Inn property. Hotel was two to three years old. Very clean, well maintained. Excellent and friendly staff. Very good free breakfast buffet each morning and a free manager's social buffet on Mon-Wed evenings. Would highly recommend this hotel and would plan on staying there again when we are back in Phoenix.

Great Hotel, Good Breakfast, Clean, Great Facilities!!!

Average would be the best word to describe this hotel. I regularly stay at Residence Inns in FL, OH, KY, and IN so I'm accustomed to a certain standard with this type of hotel. The hotel was brand new, but the housekeeping was a little lax. Dirty windows in the public areas, dusty blinds in the breakfast area, hallways that needed vacuuming (must only be done once a week is my guess), dirty stainless in the elevators. I guess you could say the little things add up. The other thing that stood out was how noisy the hotel is. We were on the fifth floor and regularly heard people wheeling luggage on the sidewalk, garbage trucks at 4 a.m., and various loud noises from outside. The hotel has potential. They need to pay attention to the little things.

Great stay...second year in a row. The early morning desk clerk came in early to set up a portion of the breakfast bar so those of us with early departures could get something to eat. That cinched the deal with me. I definitely plan to stay there again next year.

We celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with family. Entry/exit to the hotel was incredibly easy. Great location. Good breakfast daily. VERY helpful staff. Full and fully equipped kitchen. Room size was a bit cramped, and two beds were not available (there was a pull-out sofa bed which really cramped the room it was in). Quiet and clean. Overall, our stay of 8 nights was very, very nice.

This Residence Inn in Happy Valey was very clean, It was a little hard to find at night, but a call to the friendly staff at the front desk helped us find our way. The room was very big with a kitchen and dining table, desk area and couch. The bed was very comfortable and also the pillows. The best feature was the hugh breakfast with all kinds of goodies, fruit, waffles, bagels and cereal. We really like to get a good value for our stay and breakfast is fantastic. The staff was always clearing up others dishes and bringing out more food... great service!
