Great Customer Service
Good hotel to be great after remodel. Nov 12, 2009
The hotel was what I expected. The room was above average which was so for the pool area as well. What really set this place ... apart from other hotels was the customer service. The woman working behind the desk (I think her name was [...]) was amazing. She tended to all of my needs and was absolutely an amazing person.

Good but getting better, I hope
FA9 fly girl Nov 10, 2009
We were here for business and have stayed at this hotel before. The location was great and on a previous stay we were ... treated to a great complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, this time there was construction going on, I believe in the kitchen area and the breakfast was brown bag. That wasn't bad, but when you have had better, at the same hotel, it fell short. We were also able to hear the people in the next room through the vent in the bathroom. Not a good thing. I also liked the fact that the rooms had microwave ovens and refrigerators. What a plus.

No Restaurant! 2 DAYS NO CONT. BRKFST!
Distressed traveler. Nov 5, 2009
1ST DAY TOLD "THE PEOPLE WHO DELIVER THE BREAKFAST DIDN'T SHOW UP...SORRY)... Since we had a business meeting, there was not ... any time to find a restaurant & be served before the meeting without being late. 2nd DAY ' N-O-T-H-I-N-G FOR "ADVERTISED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST" BUT COFFEE...... (NOT EVEN TEA, OR A SINGLE CRACKER)!!!!! Received (the WRONG) directions to a local restaurant. Came back, and another employee gave better directions, but the restaurant was CLOSED, and under construction!! Also locked down elevators (without knowledge of front desk) TWICE in one night (all before 9:00 p.m.)!!

Not exactly as advertised!!
Tom Nov 2, 2009
Location is right off of I-17 North and was easy to locate. Was clean and spacious in the lobby and the room. The restaurant ... was closed, ostensibly for renovations, so there was no Hot American buffet breakfast, as stated in the hotel's welcome book. Coffee, fruit and snacks were offered instead. Not very good. The website advertised a fitness facility but it was closed, ostensibly for renovations. This was most disappointing, as this is a MUST for me when I am travelling.(I made alternate arrangements at a nearby private gym). The in room safe was locked when I arrived and only the manager could open it, the next day. Three days later, it malfunctioned and wouldn't open so I could not retrieve my items, including money for supper. Had to wait until the morning for the manager to open it. It was then replaced. The design of the bathroom is such that there are no towel bars, so no place to hang a towel, other than door handles. Hot water was slow in coming. There were no television listings given by the cable provider, so the only way to see what was playing was by flipping channels. A/C systems was loud. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was large and renovated. Ample parking. Very close to many restaurants.

A very nice place to stay
none to be had Nov 1, 2009
We really like staying at this Ramada. I love the walk in glassed shower and shower head. The only thing we don't like ... about it, is that there is no place to hang a wet towel. The bar in the shower is for the shower mat when not in use. I never put wet towels on the floor for the maid to pick up, so I fold them and put them on the top of the toilet. Every room that we've had has been the same.

No continential breakfast available when approached at front desk at 7:00am. Was advised that you had to take your breakfast ... back to your room when checked in. Restaurant was closed for repairs. Front desk staff could have been more friendly, greetable. I didn't feel welcomed that I was staying there at all. Rooms were clean and nice.

Affordable & convenient,
Melissa Oct 27, 2009
Over-all the Ramada was an affordable and convenient hotel. The room was nice (loved the bathroom shower) and very clean. ... Unfortunately, the bed wasn't comfortable enough. I didn't sleep well at nights. Dining and shopping were a short drive away which was great. The only hang-ups I did have were with the restaurant being closed and with breakfast being limited to Nutri-grain bars, oranges, danishes and bottled water. Not too appealing at all. It would've been nice to wake up and enjoy a "real" breakfast within the hotel grounds. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for! My bf and I had to drive to Denny's instead. Nonetheless, I would stay there again - only if taking a 2-3 day trip to Phx though.

At first glance the hotel was very nice and different then hotels I had ever been to within the same price range. But when ... two older guys moved into the room next door I could actualy hear their commotions and conversations very clearly. It became annoying and even made me feel self conscious. I felt like I completely lost my privacy. I could sometimes even hear conversation of the people in the other adjacent room coming through the vent in the bathroom.

Our experience was great overall, this hotel is very eager to please. We had a little problem the first night with a very ... loud cricket in our room but the staff quickly switched our room without question. They were working on remodeling/repairing their dinning area and did not have their breakfast available but still made an attempt to get each guest a little something each morning including a danish, fruit, and water which we appreciated! We would definitely return another time, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. A+

Phoenix Ramada
The Cusson's Oct 11, 2009
The Ramada itself was clean and comfortable. Was surprised to find the restaurant closed. Breakfast consisted of a bottle of ... water and a granola type bar. That was very disappointing, especially when it is advertised as having a full breakfast available. Was told that they would eventually open it again. I would call to find out before making reservations. Other than that, it is a nice place.

I was in town on business and had to also stay in a town called Casa Grande about 1 hour away. There I did my shopping. Exit 194 on I-10 E highway. They have a huge mall area with Marshall's, Target, Dillard's, Old Navy, Sports Authority, Best Buy, Ross and several other stores. There's also a clothing outlet about another 4 exits away (Exit 198), which has Liz Claiborne, Levi's, Hilfiger, etc. This Ramada hotel is about 4 hours drive from the Grand Canyon and Navajo Reservations, which I intend to visit on a return trip.
