attendant at lobby on evening of 24th was very unpleasant.No paper towels ,not enough washcloths, i was told there would be ... cereal for breakfast and there wasn't.Price was good but just a little more could have been added to make the stay nicer and make me want to come again.I like it when a motel puts in just that little extra touch which doesn't have to be alot but something.The room was clean but there was something on shower wall(won't go there)that should have been cleaned before we arrived.Someone wiped it there i'm sure but maids should check all of this.

Quick visit to Px 2 nites, very nicely decorated, comfy, great value, ok location. Did not use any services as I rested and ... was gone about. It is difficult to find a nice location under $100. This location makes it happen.

The hotel was a great. I couldn't believe how great the accomodations were compared to what I paid. I had stayed at the ... Ritz Carlton the night before and did not feel as though I stepped down at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was told there was multiple dining establishments within walking distance. There was a 7-11 and a run down bar called Stackers. Thats it (within walking distance). Although I wouldn't walk at night in that neighborhood. The bar and restaurant were also not in operation (I was told it was under construction)

A variety of restaurants are located within about 1 mile of the hotel. Some are GREAT value for the money (Souper Salad), some not very good ( Old Country Buffet).

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family. We had guys next to our room yelling and being loud at 2am in the ... morning. The room we were assigned was less than nicem it made us uncomfortable, the tv was having issues, the front desk clerk was nit welcoming, and the location was horrible made me check continuously to make sure my car was still in parking lot.Also it looked like people were actually living there, they had there clothes hanging from windows. The sad thing is I stayed there before by myself like a year ago and the room I had was great don't know what went down since that stay. Not the worst but not the best either.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly enough but I didn't have enough towels when I first got to my room. When I took ... my shower, I was not able to turn it off. The knob for the shower got stuck. They did move me to another room because there were not a technician available at the time. The breakfast they claim to serve daily is only fruit, water, coffee, donut or cereal bar. Your choice. Rooms need to be updated.

Hotel was unsatisfactory. Staff was unaccommodating and somewhat incompetent. I have stayed at The Ramada before and always ... had good experience (I assuming its a mgmt issue). Hotel was in a run down area of Phoenix; sheets had holes, patches of paint, exposed drywall, unclear television picture, etc. When I had an issue that needed to be resolved, staff did not take priority or concern into solving these matters. Staff appeared lackadaisical, too carefree, and rude at times.

Hotel was great. One suggestion - sign in bathroom requests that towels be hung up so that cleaning person knows not to ... leave clean towels (to save water). However, not one hook in the bathroom or on the door on which to hang.

The check in staff was not very friendly. We checked in around 11:30 and the person at the desk did not even acknowledge us ... for about 5 mins. He kept right on with whatever it was he was doing even though he saw us come in. The morning person was a little better. No one checked to see if we needed anything. We requested an extra blanket and never received it. The restaurant was closed so we got bag continental breakfasts. The room was not cleaned after the first night. We only stayed 2 out of the 4 nights we had planned and transferred to a better hotel after that.

The hotel was what I expected. The room was above average which was so for the pool area as well. What really set this place ... apart from other hotels was the customer service. The woman working behind the desk (I think her name was [...]) was amazing. She tended to all of my needs and was absolutely an amazing person.

Beautiful Deluxe rooms! Clean and Modern. Very very comfortable. I would definately stay here again. Onsite resturant is ... under construction and it was not noted. Plus didn't get the Continental breakfast that was promised.

We were here for business and have stayed at this hotel before. The location was great and on a previous stay we were ... treated to a great complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, this time there was construction going on, I believe in the kitchen area and the breakfast was brown bag. That wasn't bad, but when you have had better, at the same hotel, it fell short. We were also able to hear the people in the next room through the vent in the bathroom. Not a good thing. I also liked the fact that the rooms had microwave ovens and refrigerators. What a plus.

No Restaurant! 2 DAYS NO CONT. BRKFST!

1ST DAY TOLD "THE PEOPLE WHO DELIVER THE BREAKFAST DIDN'T SHOW UP...SORRY)... Since we had a business meeting, there was not ... any time to find a restaurant & be served before the meeting without being late. 2nd DAY ' N-O-T-H-I-N-G FOR "ADVERTISED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST" BUT COFFEE...... (NOT EVEN TEA, OR A SINGLE CRACKER)!!!!! Received (the WRONG) directions to a local restaurant. Came back, and another employee gave better directions, but the restaurant was CLOSED, and under construction!! Also locked down elevators (without knowledge of front desk) TWICE in one night (all before 9:00 p.m.)!!

The location is right in the middle of many places to be able to venture out. Sports, restuarants (high and low), shopping, downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale for more night life.

Wouldn't shop at the Food City down the street--drive a few minutes up Cactus going West (left off 28th) and hit the Fry's--better neighborhood, selection, etc. Immediate surrounding area (Food City) very harsh.

I was in town on business and had to also stay in a town called Casa Grande about 1 hour away. There I did my shopping. Exit 194 on I-10 E highway. They have a huge mall area with Marshall's, Target, Dillard's, Old Navy, Sports Authority, Best Buy, Ross and several other stores. There's also a clothing outlet about another 4 exits away (Exit 198), which has Liz Claiborne, Levi's, Hilfiger, etc. This Ramada hotel is about 4 hours drive from the Grand Canyon and Navajo Reservations, which I intend to visit on a return trip.
