The Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport North completed a 2.2 million dollar renovation in December 2005. This full-service hotel is situated approximately 1 mile from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and offers complimentary airport shuttle from 5am until midnight. Local attractions include Chase Field, Dodge Theater, Marquee Theater, US Airways Arena, downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. 1 oe blocks to Metro light rail accessing Tempe & Downtown.

Nice room, bad steak

The hotel is convenient to the airport and a good place to stay for early morning flights or late night arrivals at the PHX ... airport. The rib eye steak was thin, over cooked, and greasy. I should have went around the corner to Bill Johnson's Big Apple Steak house on Van Buren

i extended my stay by one night and the room was never cleaned or serviced. i returned at around 6 pm and was told thet ... house keeping had gone home. i then had a maintence man woho could not spreak english give me a couple of towels and some shampoo. abnd that was it.

Hotel is very nice looking. We just had a hard time with the small things. 3 floors of ice machines did not work and it took ... us over 24 hours to get a remote for our room. The front desk evening management was a bit cranky. Rooms were very nice, good location, very clean. We were excited about the sleep number beds, but soon tired of them. They deflate during the night. Good exercise room and the pool and hot tub were nice. We returned to our room at 4 in the afternoon and it had not been made up yet. They did come and rectify that. I think its a nice hotel that has staff that is being stretched due to the economy. The van driver was very nice and they made sure I got to the right place. Other than the night guy, the rest of the staff seemed anxious to please us.

We went to the Marquis Theatre for a concert, it's an amazing venue for live music with a very helpful staff and it's located just down the road, no more than a 3-5 minute drive!

We selected this hotel for its location near the airport. We arrived on Saturday evening and left before 6 am Sunday. The ... hotel was quiet, clean and well situated for a quick trip to the airport. The room was better than expected with a Sleep Number bed. I found the hotel to be a good value and would definitely stay there again if I were in the area.

I needed a place to stay overnight since I had a late flight into Phoenix and had to drive to Tucson. My only regret was ... that I couldn't stay longer. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nice for the price

My wife and I were attending a conference in Phoenix May 13-17,2009. We decided to come out early and go to Sedona and Grand ... Canyon and then come back to Phoenix. We needed a nice place for one night near the airport. The Radisson Airport North fit the bill. The price was right and the room with king bed was quiet and nice. The "sleep number" bed was nothing great and I'm not sure it worked properly or maybe it was me, but it slept fine. The location was near the airport although on the opposite side from the rental car pickup which is all in one big building. Our flight arrived right before sunset so negotiating thru the airport was a little disconcerting, but after a few turn arounds we got to where we needed to be. The hotel was near a Ruby Tuesday so we got a good meal before going to the hotel. We left early the next morning and getting on the interstate to go to Sedona was a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a nice place near the airport for a night or if a business traveler perhaps longer. If you're looking for a resort in Phoenix you can't beat the Arizona Biltmore which is where we stayed for our conference.

The room was great! Clean with the sleep number bed. Just a short easy drive to a beautiful old time 'like' downtown with ... lots of restaurants and shopping. It was a great place to stay to relax before spending the next day on the airplane.

This was a wonderful experience for my boyfriend and I. We had been looking forward to getting away for a weekend and I came ... across the Radisson Hotel which was situated perfectly between the other destinations we had for the day. It was the best part of the trip! The food was delicious, I knew the staff by name at the end of my trip, and the sleep number beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect, and the rooms were spotless, I loved it! The price is totally reasonable, I've paid more for other hotels that turned out to be mediocre. I truly enjoyed my stay and will defintely stay here in the future.

The best thing one could say about this hotel is its close proximity to the airport. The hotel's small restaurant was shabby, ... the menu was limited, and the bartender was incompetent. Our room was basic and clean and the staff were helpful, but nothing distinguishes this moderately pricey hotel from others nearby. We have done much better for the money elsewhere near Sky Harbor airport.
