Lovely resort

Went here as a single woman for some rest and relaxation, although I've stayed here with my children once before also. If ... you don't mind the climb(s), this is the place to go. Beautiful grounds, pools everywhere, nice but small workout facility, and connection right from hotel grounds to miles and miles of hiking trails. Very friendly and accomodating staff--everyone greets you with a "hello" even in passing. Will stay here again when I'm in Phoenix.

65 acres of hotel rooms, amenities and restaurants, Different Point of View is a fine dining restaurant that sits at the peak ... of the resort; a beautiful view of Phoenix at night. The US Airways Arena, where Phoenix Suns play was only 15 mins away. Best of all, we never had a run in with traffic! It was as if the resort was centrally set in the perfect location. All the surrounding suburbs were no more than 20 mins of the city limits. We were never far away from anything. I wanted to stay, just to see more.

Beautiful resort in a serene setting. The food was good as well as the servers, concierge and front desk staff. While the ... rooms were appointed nicely, the furniture including the bed was not up to the Hilton standard that I have historically experienced. Frankly, the furnishings at a Hilton Garden hotel are more comfortable. Regardless, I would return and recommend to others and advise what they should expect.

The front desk staff were very good, friendly & helpful. The downside was trying to get any service. We had to phone 2 times ... and wait 24 hrs to get the robes that were supposed to be in the room. Also asked for real coffee, not de-caf and waited 2 days for that, it never did appear. Half the places closes on Sundays and Mondays i.e the Pointe View (the nice one) restaurant

This was my second weekend getaway in Phoenix recently. The first trip was at the Arizona Biltmore. I compared the Pointe ... to the Biltmore, so I was very disappointed with this hotel. A lot of the hotel needs to be refurbished. The elevators in the main lobby didn't work. We had to carry our suitcases down 5 flights of stairs in the heat. The cold and hot water symbols are switched in the shower. Someone used the restroom in one of the big pools. They only closed the pool for about 15 minutes, definitely not enough time to properly clean the pool for this type of "accident". We had the flag up for pool side service for 20 minutes before I just gave up and walked up to the bar to order food and drinks. The internet isn't free. The movies are $15 each. The only nice thing about the room was the comfort of the bed. I paid the same price for my room at the Arizona Biltmore. Don't bother shopping around the Biltmore is hands down more for your money.
