Stayed here with friends while attending a family wedding. Couldn't have been a better situation. The only downside was restaurant on site it was rather ordinary and a bit pricey.

An Oasis in the desert
Upon arriving at the resort, I knew this was a special place. The staff was attentive and spot on with their information on local attractions and resort ameneties. We stayed in the 1BR King Casita and it was absolutely worth it! It is like having your own apartment and it is very spacious. The surrounding area on the resort is green and well kept. There is so much to do there between the water park and full spa; this is a real resort. I would definitely go back again!

Bobby Q. Recommended by the concierge, this was some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The hand cut steaks are also great. Try the Q rolls as an appetizer, my four year old loved them (and she hates eating meat!)

Squaw Peak Hilton Hotel
Please do not change the name of the hotel in order to become politically correct. The Hilton Hotel at this location is perfect in theme and landscaping that represents the landmark Squaw Peak Mountains. We enjoyed the trails, mountain views, and brilliant sunshine.

Make sure the restaurants and shops on the property are open before the hike to them. There were some places closed for the whole week after Christmas...a high tourist season, too!

Very Enjoyable - Would Come Back
We had a very nice time at the Hilton. The villas offer some privacy from the little ones. They have many pools located throughout the grounds and their good sized water park was open in late November (many close at this time). Overall very very clean, friendly staff and easy parking. One thing however, the Hole in The Wall Grill, don't go there unless all you want is a greasy 2,000 calorie dish. You can find a MUCH better place to eat in this lovely city, but as far as hotels, the Hilton is up there.

Great Getaway
My wife and I had a fantastic time. Weather was great, food was really good and the entire staff was one of the best we have ever experienced in all our travels. Would recommend to anyone. I almost forgot the river ranch was just what the doctor ordered. Can't beat it Hope to return next year!

Phancy Phun in Phoenix
This was our second stay at this property. This time we took a cozy mini-suite instead of the previous standard (larger) accommodations. Still clean and well kept. Nice on-property features, however this time we made more use of the easy access to the highways and explored the area. The place is quiet and restful at night. Would definitely stay here again, however after two visits we want to see a different part of AZ next time!

On-site restaurants are fine, but you can do better with a little research and some short drives out into the area. Try Aunt Chilata's, a short walk from this resort.
