We always stay here for family get togethers

Whenever my extended family gets together in Phoenix for Christmas or whatever all us out-of-towners always stay here. I've stayed here at least 4 times that I can recall. It's a great value and the entire hotel is very well maintained. I always stay in the 1 bedroom suite. It's so nice to have a living room and to have a door between the living room and the rest of the room. It feels more like home. I've never had any noise complaints. It's not that far from the airport and there's a Walgreens nearby to pick up bottled water, snacks for the room, etc. It's great to be able to go into the fabulous lazy river and then get dinner with the whole clan at the poolside restaurant. I can't recommend this place more.

When I get into town late I like to get dinner at Carlos O'Brien's Mexican restaurant at 1133 E Northern Avenue 1 mile from the hotel.

Great staff, not the cleanest rooms.

The value of the hotel was great, and the staff was extremely friendly. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The sheets were just two paper thin sheets with a duvet (with no cover!) crammed in between them.

Enjoyed floating down the lazy river. Nice to get away from home without having to travel far but far enough to seem like a vacation. Overall enjoyable, relaxing get away with my kids.

Work trip

I had to go to Phoenix for work. My wife decided to come with and found Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak to stay at. We had a great time. Very unique resort. Amazing pool area. Great for adults or families with children. It is so large that it works either way. The sap and fitness center were top notch. I was expecting a hotel room and was surprised to find out it was more of a bungalow/condo type situation. Very pleasant surprise there. There were a couple restaurants on site. They were ok. We mostly ate out. Overall I believe it was a very good value. We had a great time. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The staff does an amazing job in that aspect.

Water fun getaway

Well, they overbooked us and we had to all squish into a smaller room, but they made up for it with a bigger room the next 3 nights and a restaurant voucher. Overall, the resort was fine. In-room amenities were ok, but I was disappointed in the little things like adequate cups and coffee that wasn't refreshed throughout our stay.
