Phoenix

The hotel was once a Sheraton Four Point. It is definitly not now. I don't believe any thing has been don to the place since it changed hands. The rooms are below average in comfort and cleanliness. The pool area was a disaster. It was full of trash and leaves. It was never cleaned in the two days we were there. The spa was for 16 up but not enforced. Usually full of kids. Was happy to smell chlorine as the water did not appear clean. If you go to Phoenix book early so you won't have to settle for this hotel.

Nice place to stop for the night in Phoenix

Would have given it an exdtra half star, if I could. We were on our way home from Flagstaff. Stayed in Phoenix to catch a Spring Training game :D The staff was great! The room was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable. Be sure to eat at the Texas Roadhouse right across the street. Maybe the hotel should get extra points for being so close to the great food. Will definitely stay there again.

Loud, dirty, in need of repair.

Checked in during late evening, was told that there were only three rooms left, and they'd have to see if they could accommodate my request for 2 queens, which is what I booked the room with. We were then given a room directly next to one of the outside doors, and every time anyone went in/out the entire wall rattled loudly enough to wake us up. There was a reception going on, so people were coming and going out the door until four or five in the morning. The room provided was an ADA compliant room, which was not requested, so there was no tub. The floor of the shower/toilet room had dirty shoe prints across it. The fold down bench in the shower had a used bar of soap sticking to the leg, and the shower head dripped even when turned off. The wallpaper in both the bathroom and the main room was badly patched in multiple places and was peeling. The desk in the room had not been cleaned and there were brown grains of dirt or another substance on top of it. The door has around a 1/2" gap below it, so the light from the hallway shines into the room all night. Also, there does not appear to be any soundproofing in the hotel, we were able to hear the conversations of people walking down the hall, as well as the room next to us, and people out in the parking lot. When my alarm went off at 6am the people in the next room banged on the wall and yelled to be quiet. I walked around the first floor hallway before I checked out and noticed multiple spots where the wallpaper or carpet was significant worn or damaged, as well as 3 separate rooms that had staff in breathing masks spraying something out of the hand pump bottles that are often used for pesticides. Not reassuring at all. I asked for a late checkout (1pm) and at 11am housekeeping opened the door to my room without knocking and then closed the door as soon as they noticed the room was occupied. By the time I had stood up and walked to the door the cart was still parked right in front of my door, but the housekeeper was nowhere to be seen. When I checked out and told the front desk staff about the issues with the room they just said "sorry" and handed me a receipt for the wrong room number. This hotel charged rates within 10$ or 15$ of much nicer hotels, and was a quality that would have been expected at hotels that charged by the hour.

The left turn out of the parking lot can be difficult if there is heavy traffic, but if you drive around the right side of the hotel you can exit into the mall parking lot and use a light to get out to the main street.

Not too shabby...

Check-in was fast, room was a little on the small side, but not a big deal for just sleeping and getting ready. Room was very clean. Walls seemed a bit thin...could hear a man talking on the phone next door, and another phone ringing off the hook. Mini fridge, coffee maker, and iron in the room. Conveinent vanity in bathroom with seat was also appreciated. This hotel is in a GREAT location for the traveler who wants tons of shopping and food within walking distance - mall across the street & at least 20 restaurants within a mile...AWESOME!

Decent Lodging For The Price

Check in/out was easy after prepaying on [...]. The hotel bar was sufficient and the bartender and food service staff was quick and friendly. The pool was relaxing and there is a nice outdoor courtyard and fireplace for lounging. Didn't like the location too much in terms of east/west but the immediate area had lots of places to eat.

Great Location Close to Everything

The staff was more than willing to go out of their way to be helpful and courteous. We even had our playoff tickets mailed to the front desk then had them delivered to our room after we had checked in and gotten into our room.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Friend and I traveled out to Phoenix for the NFL playoff game and debated over where to stay. This was a great choice since it was no more than 20 minutes away from Airport, Chase Field, Downtown and University of Phoenix Stadium. It was a great location because it had a mall as well as plenty of food options within walking distance.

NFL Trip

We went to the Viking game in Peoria Arizona. I reserved 2 adjoining rooms since our 2 friends were coming along. We drove and our friends flew. My husband and I got there early and I got our room but she said I could pick up the other room key when our friends got to phoenix. After picking them up we got our other key. We went to the rooms and they had given our friends room away. It took them an hour and a half to find us 2 rooms next to each other. We got nothing for our trouble. They also don't have a free shuttle to the airport. It cost 20 per person and you have to reserve the shuttle. Next time, if we ever go again, we will find a motel closer to the stadium. Maybe it won't be as nice but we probably will get the rooms we paid for.

Decent hotel. Not great on location.

Hotel was nice. Nice pool and patio area. No problems as far as that goes. Only negative is that the area it is located in isn't the best for things to do.
