Hot and noisy and way overpriced

A/C did not work in our room and the A/C unit was incredibly noisy. Very dirty and our room did not have a bathtub. Overall extremely disappointed. Orbitz charged ~200/night and the hotel online advertised ~89/night.

so-so, few services

The place had almost no amenities. Bar and room service were closed when we arrived at eleven pm. Air conditioning never worked in room the entire time we were there even though, some came & supposedly fixed it. There was one mirror inside the bathroom and no visible plugs/ outlets in the room for computers/ hair dryers, etc. It was bare to the point of starkness.

Stay Away !!!

A couple hours after check in, a hotel worker knocks on my door and after waiting appox 2 seconds comes walking in my room. I didnt have half a chance to answer the door. I felt very violated.Next morn at 8 am, we awoke to a couple inches sewage in the bathtub. We couldnt get another room for 3 hours. The resturant buffet had mold on the bread, ice cold eggs, and super greasy bacon. I can't say the service was not bad because it just didnt exsist. Not one drink vending machine in the entire building would work. I ended up getting a pepsi from the bar.For the most part the staff was nice but this hotel is very run down and not well managed. Before leaving I spoke to the hotel manager and made him aware of my problems. He said he'd take care of my bill and refund my money. [...]

Do not use the phone for local calls!!!

This facility is pretty run down, the elevators are in sad shape with rust around the exterior/interior framework. My biggest peeve was the .75 charge for "local" phone use. I feel this was a hidden fee since there was not a notice of the cost before hand. The television set had lines across the top which were also annoying. I was very disappointed in this Sheraton hotel and would not recommend it.

fourpoints

the overall expectation of the experience was not even close to reality. for the cost it would have been just as easy to go to a less expensive place. like seeing a burger commercial in all it's glory only to have a sanwich slapped together and wrapped in wax paper.

Isolated

The hotel is in a terrible location. There is only a single chain restaurant within walking distance and the hotel restaurant offers terrible food. There is no gift shop to buy convenience items in the premises. Unless you have a car for personal transportation or are willing to take a cab to get to the nearest shopping center 1.5 miles away you better enjoy jogging in 110 degree weather. The room keys kept losing their magnetic memory requiring several long walks back to the desk to get new ones.

Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix North

The room resembled a Motel 6 more than any building with the name Sheraton on it. The bathroom had an odd shower setup, the tile and caulk was in poor condition. The TV was a old, small TV which did not face the bed.

The good the bad and the really ugly

We were traveling thru the Phoenix area to look at property, we stayed in three different hotels this one was the worst one of them. The bedding and room smelled like mildew or dirty laundry, in the morning when we woke up the windows had a water build up on them.It was not a sanitary place to be,also the jicuzzie smelt like mildew it was almost unbearible. The lobby and overall appeal of the hotel was very inviting. But the room and jicuzzi was not at all what was disquised by the lobby and overall appearance when you enter. I would never stay there again.
