Nice Hotel
The Hotel was very nice for only a two star rating. Very Nice room with all the amenities. The only negative was the hotel staff. The desk clerk was rude upon arrival, because my information hadn't come through on their end yet. I informed him I had the confirmation on my phone and through e-mail. But he made us wait almost an hour before letting us check in. Then the next morning we went for breakfast, which is listed on the amenities. I guess this was my mistake. I thought the breakfast was free like all the other hotels that i have stayed at. Well i was surprised to find out that breakfast would cost me $26 and some change. This was very misleading.. Not only is it listed as an amenity, but you seat yourself and help yourself to the buffet like all the other hotel establishments. Upon receiving the surprise bill I went to the front desk clerk to explain my dilemma, and was met by a rude front desk person again.... She would'nt bend on the obvious misunderstanding. To me she should've understood and at the least comped a simple breakfast to win over a future patron who goes to Spring Training every year. Hotel great... Staff bad.

Great Location
It was an awesome experience for me. I received an advanced degree from Grand Canyon University. The hotel was centrally located and had great access to great restaurants and the school. However, the rooms were dirty, the bathroom tubs were clogged and the air condition was not up to snuff. Moreover, the $8.99 breakfast was absolutely disgusting. It was not a 3 star hotel or restaurant at all.

Excellent for the price
The hotel and the furnitures are little bit old but acceptable. The service and location are great: Closed to I-17, a mall with Dillare, Macy, Sears, and many, many restaurants. I weill stay again.

Good deal in Phoenix
It was nice, clean, and quiet. A balcony might have been all that was really missing for me.

Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix
I was very dissapointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was wonderful, but I was under the impression that breakfast was included. It wasn't and the front desk couldn't tell me how I could get it included in our room. Other guests had vouchers to pay for breakfast. The pool was very cold, even though it was supose to be heated, and the hot tub was down for the entire stay. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Nice stay
We stayed at this hotel when we were on vacation in Phoenix. When we first arrived at the hotel my first thought was that it was a lot older and run down than what it looked like in the pictures. I was expecting something a little nicer for the price and for the fact that it was a Sheraton. The carpets were kind of dirty and the hotel had an old, musty smell to it. The A/C in our room didn't work so we had to open the window in the evening to cool down. We tried to go swimming but despite the 80 degree weather the pool was FREEZING!! The maintenance guy told us that the heater was broken so we settled for the lukewarm jacuzzi. Also, the TV in the room doesn't come with many channels which is not a huge deal but we traveled with our 2 year old and we had to pay for Disney episodes in the evening when there wasn't anything else "kid friendly" on. On the plus side the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is in a really good location and in a nice neighborhood, we felt very safe. It's close to the freeway, restaurants, an amusement park and a Wal-mart (which came in handy for all our forgotten stuff). We were on the first floor so it was no hassle to walk down the hall to the vending machines and the computer room. Also the bartender was very very nice and served my husband and I up some special drinks!
