InnPlace Hotel Phoenix North

Visiting parents in Glendale there are lots of hotel choices along I-17. My wife and I have stayed at several along I-17 and did not like the highway noise in each. This stay my we decided to try InnPlace, just off the highway and on the north side of Metro Center. There was no road noise, and the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. The hotel is dated, but has some updates. They did a good job for what it is, but could not overcome some architectural limitations, like the low ceilings. The staff there was very friendly and hospitable. They always greeted us with a smile, and answered any questions we had. Overall we thought it was a great value, and will stay there again.

The hotel is a little old and not updated but it's clean, the staff is nice, and it is a solid value for the price.

The best part of this stay was the staff. They were excellent, friendly, and responsive. The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was very awkward. The outdated TV was placed at the left foot of the bed, but facing the opposite wall, and bolted down so it couldn't be turned. The only thing actually across from the TV was the mini fridge, sitting oddly by itself on the opposing wall. The carpets were fairly dingy, and when I had a water bottle leak & went to dab up the water, the cloth came up black. This was in the Delux King room. That being said if you were literally walking in, sleeping, and leaving it would be sufficient. I still just don't know at that point if it's worth the even discounted $70 a night. It really seems like this company took over an aging hotel and just hasn't invested in it at all.

The Inn Place is a good value. It is in a convienant location. The breakfast is good and easy. We enjoyed the Happy Hour. The grounds are nice and the staff was helpful and courteous.

This was a good value at the discounted rate offered. Definitely a step up from Motel 6 for only a slight increase in cost. It's an older facility, but well maintained, and the location was perfect for my needs.

It was okay...we enjoyed our stay and slept good that night.

My expericence was that the shower looked dirty and a spacing under the door. The TVs need to upgraded.

it was a nice hotel for the price. restaurants right across from the hotel. Check in only take least then a min.

Staff courteous, hotel clean if a wee bit on the worn side. Room spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only downside is the bathroom door was a pocket door that didn't like to open and close easily. There is a continental buffet that was over priced for what was offered, but good.

This hotel was great! As you see in other reviews it was a little outdated, but not a big deal especially for the price you are paying! The room was nice, spacious for 2 people, accommodating, and very clean. Location was PHENOMENAL! This location (North) is a better part of Phoenix for price, safety, etc. however, it is only a "hop, jump, and skip away" from any tourist or scenic area you would want to go to. The surrounding amenities are wonderful, you could not ask for more in that category. There are several shopping, entertainment, and restaurants within walking distance. Also their pool and spa area is nice and spacious. It could use a little TLC, but definitely able to use and enjoy. They also offered a fitness center, small, but feasible for your average workout. Computer area with printer and vending machines was helpful. The only amenity listed I felt was misleading was it said they offered a shuttle service. I was renting a car, but needed a ride to get there. Their advertisement said they offered Shuttle Bus Service, but they did not offer it. They do have a restaurant and it is YUM, but not complimentary. I do feel they could offer a light complimentary breakfast. I encountered about a dozen staff members during my stay, all who were friendly, and could not do more to accommodate you, and really made my stay even better. One of those members was the manager who went out of her way to help me and make my stay more memorable. I was here visiting my husband who is temporarily living here for work and our time was precious. InnPlace Hotel helped us use that time to the best of our abilities. : )
