You will be very shocked on the what value this place has.Good location,nice rooms and staff. Only one negative item on my ... list was you could see some of the age in small areas like around the door and shower. But still very well kept and an excellent price!

Room was nice and spacious with very nice bed linens and comforter. The area has seen better times, but it was well located ... for me with several lower end chain restaurants - Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc - close by. Front desk provided a can of shaving cream gratis to cover my packing omission. Hotel restaurant closed except for breakfast. All in all good value for money

A couple hours after check in, a hotel worker knocks on my door and after waiting appox 2 seconds comes walking in my room. I ... didnt have half a chance to answer the door. I felt very violated.Next morn at 8 am, we awoke to a couple inches sewage in the bathtub. We couldnt get another room for 3 hours.The resturant buffet had mold on the bread, ice cold eggs, and super greasy bacon. I can't say the service was not bad because it just didnt exsist.Not one drink vending machine in the entire building would work. I ended up getting a pepsi from the bar.For the most part the staff was nice but this hotel is very run down and not well managed.Before leaving I spoke to the hotel manager and made him aware of my problems. He said he'd take care of my bill and refund my money. [...]

Quiet. The hotel seemed mostly empty on weekdays. Metrocenter mall is not the hot spot it used to be back in the 70's or ... 80's. Several businesses are closed. It suited my needs as a quiet place to stay for business in the area. Room service is limited due to staffing. Tennis courts are used for storage and have not been played on in years.

We were looking for Indian culture items. We found Scottdale to be the best by far. My wife and I were not treated very friendly in two of the shops we stopped in, I guess thats because we did not purchase anything. Overall we did enjoy our Scottsdale trip its a lovely town. Drink lots of water, the Aug temp's were reaching 115.

All the rooms have a little fridge. If you go west on Peoria ave., there is a Frys Market Place about one mile down. You can buy all kinds of goods stuff to stock up your mini fridge.

So many choices for dining. Closest area to park and walk is Mill Ave. in Tempe, howeever, Scottsdale is right up the road a couple of miles and food choices just get better and so does the shopping.
