Wouldn't Stay Again
I wouldn't stay here again. The place was run down and dirty. In one of our rooms we found someone's socks, a soda bottle, and snack wrappers in the room. The cleaning staff was observed sitting on a bed and watching TV in a room they were supposed to be cleaning.

My boyfriend and I went there to relax and visit and hang out with his buddies he had not seen in a long time. I had never been to Phoenix and booked the hotel. My boyfriend had lived there and was impressed at how close to his friends we were. Thank you for the wonderful weekend...We were happy to have found a nice hotel :)

Enjoyed the location
We were in town for the finals of the Drag Boats at Firebird Raceway. The location was very close with only a 5 min drive involved. We arrived very late and the night manager was very helpful with directions from the airport and check in. Room was clean and spacious.

Wouldnt stay again
We felt misled, as this was not a 3 star property, or even close. Reserved non-smoking, went to room and it had strong smoke odor. TV was microscopic. Dishes and utensils were sparse (2 spoons, 2 cups, etc). Due to smoky room , they put us in handicap room, Only 2 pillows, full size bed when we reserved a queen. Close to 2 busy streets, noisy.

didn't stay long just one day until we left for sedona. Would of enjoyed myself, lots of shops and restraunts in the area

Not bad for the price
I thought The Extended Stay America was a good value for the money...The kitchen amenities were good, everything you need was there, in good order and clean!! The room was clean and well kept & the bed was ok for a standard king mattress. (No frills). The staff was friendly and professional. Had no problem getting extra coffee packets, soap etc. There are many dining options within a half mile radius. This is a no frills place, kind of like an efficiency apt...It's served our purposes well and we would stay there again.
