good value for family event

My family stayed here for 2 days while in town for a memorial service. The front desk gave us adjoining rooms which was perfect. The free breakfast was great and the cocktail hour was good too, although I don't consider chips and salsa "free hors d'oeuvres". The location was convenient, as it was right off the freeway, but there was nothing else within walking distance which would have made it better. We used the sofa beds in both rooms, and they definitely could have used some updating. Also, some of the linens and towels were worn and should probably be replaced. Pool area was great!

If you are a morning soda drinker, bring your own large cup - the glasses at breakfast are tiny.

Good Room, Great Food

We booked this room because it was exponentially less expensive to rent from the Alamo Rent-A-Car desk at the hotel than at the airport (there was a NASCAR race in town that weekend). The room was more than I wanted to spend but the breakfast made up for the hotel cost. It was fabulous! There were cooks doing pancakes and omelets, multiple meat options, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, on and on. Really well done. We weren't there for the Manager's Recption in the bar or other meals, but I would bet they are well done. The room was comfortable and clean - nothing extravagant but nice.

hang onto the seat!

The suite was sumptuous. The only problem with the room was the loose toilet seat which moved. Also, the handicap access door to the entrance of the hotel was not obvious, even though they had one. One would not know where it was during a first visit. Breakfast was outstanding! Floors were awfully slick, also.

Great Service ,Great Price

We arrived with a great reception, the rooms were clean and taken care of everyday, the place itself is beautiful, one of the best places I ever stayed at,the court yards and pool areas are well maintained with rich green grass, and well groomed and clean. The breakfast was second to none. Myself and my 2 kids (young adults)loved it.

Friendly, clean and accommodating!

Just far enough out of the greater city of Phoenix, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. We could explore the nothern region of Sedona, the eastern region of Fountain Hills and the western area with ease. The hotel personnel were friendly and very accommodating. From the made-to-order breakfast to the happy hour free coctails, we had nothing to complain about. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a great experience there. We completely enjoyed our dinners there with a nice variety of options.

We were able to visit several tourist sites like Montezuma's Castle, Sedona, Taliesin West, and the spectacular fountain at Fountain HIlls All had walking trails and paths and we were sorry that we didn't have more time to explore.

Not what Embassy normally delivers

I have stayed with Embassy before and been impressed not only with the acommodations, but with the service they provide. This was very sub-par. The room was filthy. The sheets were torn, there were stains on the walls, floor, furniture, and bedding. We called the manager to complain and all he could offer was a new set of sheets and some vouchers for their restaurant. We ended up leaving the hotel that night and had to scavenge for another one at 11 pm. There are plenty of hotels in the Phoenix area, choose another one besides this one.

Pretty facility

Staff was pleasant, professional and kind. The room was somewhat stuffy and had a funny smell but it was clean. The exterior building was immaculate. I will highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you
