You get what you pay for

We were not at all happy with our stay. Although we paid a low rate I guess thats what you get meeger accomodations. The room itself had an odor to it. The amemities on the website did not coincide with what the room didnt have... iron with board refridgerator to name a few. Was a money saver but like I said, you get what you pay for.

Football/Getaway

Staying at the Days Inn was not what I expected. First of all, the rooms that my family and I reserved ( 3 rooms) had a really bad smell. It took about 10-15 minutes just to check-in. When I reserved the room on [...], I requested a crib for my 6 week old daughter and an extra roll-away bed. When I checked in I asked for the crib that I had requested and they told me that they don't have cribs. All they have are pack-n-plays. So they hand me the pack-n-play, and don't offer to take it to my room. When I get to my room and start unpacking and unwinding from my 6 hour drive, the "crib" is filthy, with food crumbs inside, it wasn't even cleaned after the last people who used it, and it was broken. When my husband called the front desk, the agent said that in order for us to get a new one, we had to pack it, and bring it back to the lobby. He said that he was too busy to come down to the room and get it. I will not be staying at the Days Inn [...]. We were there for 3 days and 2 nights and not once did housekeeping come and clean our room and provide us with clean sheets and towels.

MOTEL 6 IN DISGUISE...STAY AWAY!!!

My wife and our 8 month old stayed at this dump in July of 2011 and were terribly disappointed. For starters, this MOTEL was a Motel 6 until recently when the owner decided to spend more money on the Days Inn sign versus renovating the place. -The "free" WiFi is more than deceiving in that the routers are in each room in a metal box locked (i.e. you will be lucky to get 2 bars). -The locking mechanisms on the doors are old and in most cases broken. Our key malfunctioned several times. This is a problem when you are standing in the 110 degree Phoenix heat. -This dump charges 25 cents for a bucket of ice. What hotels charge for ice? Answer: motels that you rent by the hour. -Lastly and for us the final straw. The carpets were dyed in the "renovation". We had over $300 worth of clothing damaged as a result of the dye bleeding onto our clothing. The owner agreed to refund our stay, but refused to reimburse us for our damaged clothing. He then tried to blackmail me into accepting the refund as "hush" money, but the inept guy did not realize that we were already refunded. As this is a Days Inn (technically) it falls under the Wyndham umbrella. I called Wyndham to voice concern about this property and the owner, but they were not very concerned though I am...er...was a Wyndham Rewards member. ***STAY AWAY*** ***STAY AWAY*** ***STAY AWAY***

It was clean

Good: Clean room, albeit in bad need of remodeling, water pressure and shower was awesome, check in and out was fast and efficient, waffles were decent. BAD: Amenities said "hair dryer and coffee pot in room" - there was none; pool hours 9-9 (really in Phoenix when its in the high 90's until 9 or 10pm?); pool railing in need of being fixed (creates a danger); complimentary breakfast very disappointing (no fruit, milk or cereal on the weekend); grounds were dirty (cigarettes, trash, etc.); air conditioning only worked part of the time; we had 4 people in our room and were given only 1 large bath towel, one small bath towel and several hand towels, had to wait for extra towels because they "didn't have enough" to give us extra.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

The neighborhood isn't the best, so not a good place to run (if your a runner); Phoenix doesn't open until 9am on Saturdays.

left with that gross feeling

After this stay, I was pretty disgusted. I guess you get what u pay for. Non-smoking rooms, reeked of smoke. Our feet turned black from walking on the carpets. Had to lay blankets down on the floor. Breakfast in morning was very disappointing. Over, regret spending the $ to stay there...

You can find better

First in No smoking rooms -strong smell of cigarettes. 2nd Toilet overflowed completely flooding the floor the first time we used it. 3rd I had to insist on getting another room. Front Desk was only going to plunge toilet and swab floor- even when I told them about major flooding and smells. I insisted at front desk for a change. 2nd room- Air conditioner did not cool room adequately. Also discovered Ice is not free to guests here. Rest of stay was OK but I can not recommend this hotel.

Rejected handicapped child!

Driving to destination, called & asked if we could check in early. Was told room would be ready @ 1pm. Arrived, room was not ready. Was told to come back, I told them I would not be able to come until 8pm. Was told room would be ready and waiting. When returned, was told the room we had been promised had been given away because we didn't check in earlier. I was angry, and said, Just give me a room, because my handicapped daughter is going to cry and scream when I wake her up to get in the room, the sooner I can get her into bed, the better. The desk clerk then informed me that since I was threatening him and planned to be a disturbance, I was not welcome there and refused to check us in. I had to drive down the road to another hotel and pay more, but at least they allowed handicapped children.

Gross

This place was horrible. Location was horrible. Not handicap accessible .. No coffee maker, phones and laundry service out of order and wifi wasn't working either .. Cigarette holes in blankets in our non smoking room etc The housekeepers didn't clean our room and when I had to walk to the front office for towels (because there was no one to be found) I was questioned like it was my fault.. Then he offered me a 5$ coupon Really? Maybe some decent towels would have been so insulting / hard I left the coupon for the housekeepers tip.. Seeing as I was a housekeeper in Vegas .. I would have expected less if I skipped cleaning a room
