comfortable and relaxing
this Days Inn made my 10 day visit to Phoenix, very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful to my needs. Aside from no ashtray in a smoking room, and the lack of an ice bucket, it was a good experience.

It was clean
Good: Clean room, albeit in bad need of remodeling, water pressure and shower was awesome, check in and out was fast and efficient, waffles were decent. BAD: Amenities said "hair dryer and coffee pot in room" - there was none; pool hours 9-9 (really in Phoenix when its in the high 90's until 9 or 10pm?); pool railing in need of being fixed (creates a danger); complimentary breakfast very disappointing (no fruit, milk or cereal on the weekend); grounds were dirty (cigarettes, trash, etc.); air conditioning only worked part of the time; we had 4 people in our room and were given only 1 large bath towel, one small bath towel and several hand towels, had to wait for extra towels because they "didn't have enough" to give us extra.

The neighborhood isn't the best, so not a good place to run (if your a runner); Phoenix doesn't open until 9am on Saturdays.

days inn
It was pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The AC took a while to work but eventually it kicked in. The room had an odor probably from not having any ventilation, but overall it was nice.

Get what you paid for
This location is on the fringe of north west Phoenix and Glendale. The first night we found a roach in the bathroom that had more lives than a cat when we tried to squash it. In all fairness he may have gotten in when we were bringing in our luggage but it was disturbing all the same. During our 5 night stay nothing good or bad really stood out. We did book it for 30 bucks a night so I thought it was to be expected. If you are on a budget and brave I would definately recommend it.

Highly recommend a GPS if you are unfamiliar with the area. Phoenix has very strange off and on ramps.

We had a good time
We were down there for a soccer tournament and showed up Saturday morning around 12:00pm and wondered if it would have been possible to have an early check in which would have been nice, but it didn't happen. (not a bad thing but would have helped us). The hotel was nice and quite which was very nice since really the only time we were there was when we were sleeping. Overall a fun trip!
