Good place to rest near the airport

Good place to stay if you're arriving from the airport or spend a night before departure. Nothing to see or do in the ... vincinity, but with the new light rail that stops just outside the hotel, downtown is reachable in 20 minutes. Free shuttle to the airport every 30mins. Average restaurant and Starbucks in the lobby.

Good service, friendly staff. Close proximity to airport was very helpful for us. Public transportation is convenient to ... travel downtown, but we needed a rental car anyway. Parking garage at hotel available for $6.00/day. The room was clean and modern, comfortable bed. Free WIFI a definite plus. Slightly bothersome was that our window was next to the parking garage. Food and beverages on-site are pricey so we went down the street for better deals.

the PHX restaurant scene, based on my limited experience, is disappointing. search online and read menus and reviews. it takes time but it's worth it. my last day's lunch and dinner were excellent. don't trust visitor/convention listings.

It was good but I have one issue: I check in on Friday at 10:00pm and ask if it could be possible to have a late check out ... on Sunday because I will have a 10:00pm flight. I told them if paying half a day rate will solve the issue and they agree. When I was doing the check out I was charged US 89.00 plus tax. I think it was its full rate and I wont return to that hotel.

friendly front end staff all keepers. No hot water on the second floor at 5:00 pm. Laundry room ran all night long and we ... could hear it in our room. It is hard to get to with construction when we don't live there.

very convenient with new light rail literally across the street that makes access to downtown very easy. cafe is pretty good ... but expensive. very close to PHX airport. very limited merchandise for purchase in case you need something. didn't get daily paper, as promised.

If you want to sit at a bar and not pay a fortune you need to take the short drive to Tempe by the ASU campus. There you will find some bars and restruants with a nice crowd.

This was a short visit as we arrived very late in the evening and had an early flight. However, the staff was very nice, the ... room very pleasant and the free parking garage a pleasant surprise. All in all it was very good value for the price.

Very close to airport but not noisy-free shuttle pick-up and return very fast. free Internet in lobby. Light Rail system in ... front of hotel took us to Chase Field 10-15 minutes. nice restaurant and lounge. was allowed to check in early. very happy with stay and will stay there again.

There were no bath towels upon our arrival. Though bath towels were delivered quickly upon our request, they were damp. The ... plumbing was awful, with water pooling up in the tub during showering and then a black, silty deposit came up through the drain. Gross. Hotel staff was quite courteous, but the hotel needs a lot of work.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We spent a few hours each night in the lounge, and the bartender answered ... any questions we had. She was friendly and joking not only with us but with all other customers that were there.

We had trouble getting into our room because the strike plate on the door had become loose. The hair dryer didn't work. ... When I tried the reset buttom and also tried replugging it into the socket. No, luck. I also tried to coffee maker to see if it was the appliance or the outlet and realized that the outlet was cracked and if I pushed any harder it was going to push through the wall. They ended up giving free parking for the inconvinience. Also, the resturaunt was wierd... no one was there, there was no smell of food at all....curious.

Not what I expected

I told the reception guy that my reservation was already paid via cheaptickets.com, but he requested my credit card, and ... swiped it, saying I wasn't going to be charged again, but guess what? I have two charges ! Then, I had a flight the next day 6 am, and I had to wake up really early, and the shower was literally broken. I called the reception, and they sent me to a room across the whole hotel to take my shower at 3 am ! Not to mention the smell in the hotel rooms.
