This hotel was within walking distance of a number of shopping centers and restaurants which made the experience very enjoyable. Staff and area taxi service were also excellent with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere all around. Well worth the stay.

Lovely place-new, and well-decorated. Limited breakfast menu--but the continental breakfast provided fresh fruit and healthful choices. My only complaint is that their website states they offer "free airport transportation"--which led me to select this place. Alas, no transportation exists--at least at this point. The front desk was very helpful in providing other options--expensive, in some cases; so we depended on family for transport to the airport. Next time I'll call ahead and verify.

Quiet and Away from the City
The mini-refrigerator is not in the room as indicated in the description. It is by request only so I would call before arrival and make sure there is one available. The rooms are not as large as they look in the picture, but they are comfortable. The bed is too soft, but the pillows were great.

The only place that seems to serve breakfast close by is IHOP and Paradise Cafe and Bakery. The food at Paradise is fresh and tasty.

Quiet, comfortable retreat!
The front desk staff were neither a plus or a negative. The hotel is quiet, very clean and the room was nicely appointed - comfortable and clean. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and freeway (but not close enough to hear it!).

Best bang for the buck .........
Everything was new in the hotel, The breakfast was great, and the staff was always polite. The room was spotless and the beds were actually quite comfortable. I also like the move to larger LCD/Plasma screens which made the stay very comfortable. The restroom was clean and the shower was very roomy. I wanted to work out at the gym and from experience i expected the same run down hardly working equipement. Now the gym was small, but everything in the gym was brand new, organized, and clean. In fact the treadmills and the elliptical trainers were better than what was found in some of the fitness gyms like 24hour fitness. The location is also good being that it is around a mile away from the freeway, but just ouside the hustle and bustle of the shopping area.

The Glendale area right around the hotel is new with new shops popping up all over the place. There is a large outside plaza with restaurants and shops about a 1/2 mile away from the hotel next to HW17.
