gold mine of a find!

an Independently owned hotel. The staff has amazing customer service! A complimentary wine hour every day, and a free photo booth in the lobby. Me and my teenagers had such a fun weekend at the hotel! Beautifully and uniquely decorated. I don't recommend the Mexican restaurant located within the hotel. we ordered dinner from them the night before and our server was condescending but the food was ok. But we ordered breakfast the next morning and our food order was completely wrong and not very good. But please don't let that reflect against the hotel or the staff of the hotel.

awesome stay

This hotel is great. The staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. The hotel vibe is hip and the rooms are comfortable. It has a great restaurant the Gallo Blanco and the pool and skydeck both made my stay more enjoyable. The resort fee of $20/day seems a bit excessive but it inlcudes parking, wifi and unlimited sodas and snacks at the front desk so i guess that was acceptable. In fact, i'm snacking on a bag of Planters peanuts right now courtesy of the hotel. Gracias!

Front Desk

The guys at the front desk were so incredibly nice. We had a little hiccup with the original room they gave us, but they fixed it without a problem. The hotel is decent and what made it a place that I would stay again is without a doubt, the staff.

Quirky and fun

An older hotel, but clean with friendly staff. The design details and the spectacular pool make this place make this place. The restaurant on the side (Gallo Blanco) has amazing food and reasonable prices.

No Sleep for Days

We chose this hotel (which is really a motel) because it has a fantastic restaurant, a nice pool, and the decor looked awesome online. The decor turned out to be great, but the room overall had some serious issues. In the first room they gave us, we found feces on the bathtub, so we switched rooms. Accidentally left some Canadian candy in the mini fridge of the first room -candy you can't buy in the US. So we called the front desk and they eventually brought it to us. They had opened all the packages and ate some of it. Wow. I know it was Halloween and all, but seriously? We weren't offered any discounts for the issues with the first room and the candy theft. Couldn't get the temp in the room adjusted properly plus the never-ending nightly noises kept us from sleeping at all while we stayed there for 2 nights. Not impressed, will pick a different hotel next time because a decent night's sleep is a bit more important than a mid-century modern sofa and a hipster light fixture.
