Great boutique hotel

Would recommend Wed, Dec 2, 2015
I really enjoyed my stay at Clarendon, a great boutique hotel. Caters to the gay population and it's a bit cruisey. But it was fun and the staff was great. Super margaritas served poolside.

Wonderful visit w/ family.

Would recommend Sun, Nov 22, 2015
The Clerendon was the perfect location for our visit, on the same block as family. Rooms are older, but have been updated w/ an eclectic mix of furniture. Pool area is in the center of complex and has new age type music playing morning till night, which we found refreshing. We felt safe and comfortable.

Quick Stay-Wish it was longer

Would recommend Fri, Nov 20, 2015
We were in this hotel room for about 7 hours, to sleep before catching a flight home. I wish we had a chance to enjoy the room and hotel because it was one of the fanciest places I have ever been. So many chic amenities- very modern. Price was low considering how great it was.

Ok stay, seems like 2 star hotel.

Would not recommend Thu, Oct 1, 2015
On second night we saw a cockroach crawling on my pillow, I moved bed and there was another one dead on floor. I asked for another room and second room pillows had hairs. I guess the cleaning crew is not doing a good job here. At least staff waived the extra fees charged by hotel, still no discount given for the third night. For the price they charge, this is not a very good hotel.

Vera Bradley/Wallet on a string STOLEN from room.

Would not recommend Sun, Aug 30, 2015
We had a great experience at the Clarendon until we got home and realized my 16 year old daughters Vera Bradley/wallet on a string had been stolen from her lingerie drawer in the hotel. Stupidly (we should have locked it up) she put it in the drawer and she never took it out. When we got home we realized it was missing. Checked with her bank and over $400 had been charged on her visa/debit card. Thankfully being a child she had little money in her account and on the 4th transaction it was caught as fraud & was denied. We got our $$ back but her brand new drivers license was gone! She lost $20 cash and a $40 visa birthday gift card. Great lesson for us but we trusted the service workers/maids in the hotel... Our mistake! I contacted the hotel immediately and never heard back from them. Very Disappointing!

Nice Funky hotel close to Downtown

Would recommend Thu, Aug 13, 2015
I have stayed here twice now. The second time, I paid quite a bit more probably based on the time of year. Paying up to $200/night or more for this hotel may turn some people off because it is an older hotel. The hallways seem depressing and are outdoor accessible (there is only one elevator and/or lots of stairs if staying on upper floors-4 stories only). That being said, I love the boutique experience and the restaurant attached is nice while laying at the pool for drinks and lunch. The pool is not overly huge but the lounges are nice and there was always plenty of room. I would stay here again but would hope to pay <$200nt if its off season.
