Not Bad , Room for improvement

I had a few complaints but overall it was pretty nice. We werent told the water park was closed. You could only use foam rubber balls on the golf driving range. Our tub took 3 hours to drain ...it was clogged. Drinks were very expensive !

Fall Spectacular

Unhappy with internet connection. Checkout folks were not the least concerned. The resort fee in general is free money to them. Very little value received in return for making this payment. Something about the place that makes you forget about the worries of the world. So peaceful, just beautiful.

Great veiw of the FREEWAY!!!

Disappointed in this resort. Room was very average. Our room faced the freeway so that was our veiw the whole weekend. I will not go back to this resort. I've had better rooms and better service at Embassy Suites and others and paid much less.

Missed Potential

With its wallet-assaulting $40/day resort fee, the Arizona Grand does set some expectations for service, but sadly it misses the mark. Your resort fee pays for little else than slow wireless internet (plus newspapers that aren't delivered, a health club you'll likely not use, & a parking space that's free anyway). The staff is also a bit under-trained, noisy in the hallways at odd hours, & not quite four-star resort caliber. That all having been said, the rooms are top quality & the waterpark is entertaining & comfortable. If the staff wouldn't knock carts about outside the rooms at 10pm & if the management would sober up about its resort fee, this would be the obvious resort of choice in the Phoenix area.

Tempe has a variety of restaurants within a ten-minute drive of the resort. For some down-home Mexican on the cheap, try Poliberto's east on Baseline.

Family get together

Overall experience was good; however, because we had a change in plans I ended up booking 1 night of rooms through an internet company and one night through the hotel--despite calling them twice to let them know, they still couldn't figure out that we were staying 2 nights. They deactivated our room key after the first morning and almost made us switch rooms in the middle of our stay.

Losing ground

The water park was fun and relaxing as always. We stay every summer. Each year the focus seems to shift further from customer satisfaction and hone in on how to increase profits. Not a bad philosophy for any company to increase profits but in this industry you should never lose sight CSAT.
