Dont let the serene pictures fool you

First and foremost, it is very noisy you can hear what people are conversing about in the hall, a train passes by ever hour on the hour so you don't rest well and the staff wow.... so unfriendly cant say good morning , or even smile...its like if it hurts them or something, now i could see if i was staying there for free but im not im a paying customer just like everyone else.

Nice rooms. Very cold pool and ice machine on our floor did not work.

Upon arrival we found that their computer had us arriving on 2/12. We fortunately had our confirmation and a room was found for us. The desk person was very unfriendly, but did her job. Several others in our party had the same experience.

Base camp to backpacking havasupai falls

This hotel really impressed my wife and I. We had very low expectations driving into peach springs and were stunned by the cleanliness, comfort, and overall feel of this hotel. Very good food (especially the frybread) in the restauraunt and the beds were great! The train noise thing is no joke but the free earplugs and leaving the A/C or bathroom fan on does help. One waitress, who is also a teacher locally, was really top notch! I will definitely stay there again when we return in August.

Great escape

Enjoyed the hotel. In the middle of nowhere, but there is a great dirt road drive to the bottom of the canyon right across from the hotel. And the restaurant was very good.

Nice accomodations

We spent one night at the lodge because we were leaving on a rafting tour of the Grand Canyon the next morning. There is nothing around the lodge; the only restaurant for 40 miles is the one at the lodge. The food was excellent; it had great reviews online and no one at the table was disappointed with their food. The rooms were very spacious, especially considering the price. The shower head was a bit low, which could be a problem for someone who is taller. Overall, the rooms were clean and quiet. I had read if you stayed on the other side of the hotel you hear trains go by every 15 minutes. I can't comment on this aspect although I know they offer free earplugs at the front desk. Overall, good experience, friendly staff, good food, clean and spacious room.

an average overnight

Hotel is average in a somewhat remote setting. The much touted salt water pool is outside and so is closed after Summer. We were there end of November. Nearest activity 12 miles away is Grand Canyon Caverns; otherwise nothing to do in area. I thought Hualapai Lodge was near Skywalk...it's about 125 miles away...disappointing.

Havasu Stop

The hotel is the closest lodging when going to hike down to Supai to see the waterfalls. It was a standard hotel that was relatively clean and had a very nice pool/jacuzzi area. I thought it was a little pricey but there are no other options. The only negative is that it is located right next to the railroad tracks, so if you are a light sleeper you should take the free earplugs they offer. It is about a 65 mile drive to the trailhead parking lot and so I would advise staying here the night before you head down the trail.

Hualapai, the place to be

Nice hotel, with continental breakfast included. We didn't mind the trains, but if you are a bad sleeper you'll need earplugs...
