Pictures don't tell the story

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel overall. The room was clean but musty and warm when we got there, and although the weather outside was nice, the room A/C did not work. We called down to the front desk and they told us to turn it all the way down, which we did, but the room never cooled off, we actually ended up opening the windows in order to sleep. The continental breakfast wasn't ready at 7:00 AM, and they didn't have the silverware out until almost 7:30, we ended up going to IHop for breakfast. Not a great experience for the $, we won't go back

family vacation

I was traveling with two children. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was the continental breakfast so I wouldn't have to take them to breakfast every morning. The kids found the breakfast revolting(they weren't wrong), so we ended up going out every morning anyway. Other than that we had a comfy cozy stay. We had some lovely nightswims.

Dobson Ranch Inn- not so much

Dobson Ranch used to be considered high end, so I thought I was getting a great cheap tickets deal on my stay. Not so much. Tried to use guest computer in lobby (phone batter died), and only one was working. When I entered the room there were 4 half sized pillows on the King bed. I thought that was odd. No regular bed pillows. When I asked at reception, they said they only had small pillows, so they gave me a couple of extras. The room was so cold I could not sleep. There was a thin blanket and sheet on bed only, and I could not figure out how to turn on the heater. The words next to the buttons were worn down so bad I could not read them.On the last day I went to the breakfast buffet at 8:45am and there was no hot food left or coffee. I went into the kitchen because there was nobody around, and told the first person I saw. I waited by the buffet table for 15 minutes, and no food came out. People were not happy at all. This was the Friday after Thanksgiving, and I left the hotel immediately very unsatisfied. and hungry!

For a weekend wedding

This hotel was okay for the amount that we paid. The breakfast was not good, typical throw it together breakfast same thing everyday eggs, sausage and potatoes all were probably pre-frozen. Thank goodness there was a great breakfast spot across the street as well as a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice, even though weren't anticipating that expense. When we arrived at 330 after traveling 12 hours that day we were told we would have to pay a $12 fee to check in "early" as the check in time was 4pm. We didn't spend much time here as we spent a lot of time with family. One good thing was that the water was HOT like really really HOT!

Good Value, that's about it.

The hotel is easy enough to find. Granted we only stayed there one night, mainly due to the price but it was not something to brag about (stay wise). It is an older resort hotel, so we didn't really expect much. Expectations were met very much so, on the not expecting much part. The rooms were as expected, old and dated. Cleanliness was average. Nothing to brag about there. The walls? Paper thin. The couple 'having a good time' next to us was very loud and could hear everything. Thank goodness the kids were asleep. Would not have been fun explaining there 'fun'. Would not stay there again if I had a choice.

Weekend getaway

Room and property clean and comfortable. Breakfast supposed to be served from 6 to 10 am but when we got there at 8 were told all food was gone because cook didn't show up. Overall not bad but a little disappointing.
