good stay

Room was clean, but dated. Walls are thin, so if you do not want to hear the kids playing in the room next to you at 6:30 in the morning, I would request a different room.

Nice place

Everything worked out great for me at this hotel. I wish that I had a microwave in the room but other than that I have no complaints at all. The room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was a big plus. I would recommend this hotel. Pool and spa were very clean as well.

Disappointing Stay

The pool was very nice, but like the rest of the resort, even the deck was falling apart. In the restaurant, staff good but facility is the worst kept I have ever seen - duct tape holding the seat together! In the room, good amenities, but chairs stained badly. The noise at night was the worst ever experienced. If the ownership invested in maintenance, this would be an excellent resort. Unfortunately, they have let it fall apart.

Hidden Gem

Very surprised, the out side of the property doesn't even begin to show what is on the interior of the property. With the fire pit and the sparkling pool the grounds are a gem. Really enjoyed my stay. Also the bar tender has great conversation and knows the history of the hotel well.

Overnight in the city

It was great for the most part- especially the location. The room had a funky odor but nothing a little febreeze couldn't handle. The continental breakfast was standard but still provided sustenance.

Great Value and location!

On this trip it was exactly what I needed. I originally had a room off of the pool and had to move to the outside (which turned out to be a better room anyway and very quiet) due to the noise of all of the kids in the pool and the child in the room above running constantly. This is no fault of the hotel, just poor parenting. The staff was terrific and completely accommodating for anything you need. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our needs

Hotel staff EXCELLENT; location exceptional to ASU (reason for being in Arizona - son is incoming Freshman) and getting to Scottsdale; also {easy to get to major freeways, ie., 202, 60 and 101; the free breakfast was VERY TONED DOWN during the Summer months - a little disappointing but there are some excellent and reasonable breakfast places within a couple minutes from hotel; room very acceptable with very comfortable beds and GREAT SHOWER PRESSURE; nice pool but no diving board; just a nice experience. Visited Cubs new ballpark with street signs - Sheffield, Clark St. (Ha), Fashion Square - Scottsdale, Pinnacle Peak Restaurant where the tie gets cut off (was sold to developers a terrible situation - and will close at end of 2015. MUST eat at Don and Charlies for dinner and Butterfield's for breakfast - both in Scottsdale. Love the area, love Arizona and, yes, even the 106 temperatures with low humidity - yes, it is extremely hot.8/22/2014.
