Dobson Ranch Inn

Nothing spectacular to set this hotel in front.

Hotel looks better on the website than in reality.

We had a good time. Kids enjoyed the pool.Cmplimentary breakfast was great, everyone got something they liked to eat.

The room was always clean. the staff was great with the exception of the waiters in the dining room. Not accomodating at all. watch TV more then waiting on customers. When asked if they would put the French Open tennins tournament on, they ignored me. No one was watching soccer game except the two waiters.

The Hotel was easy to find, close to the freeway. We had a family picnic at the Dobson Ranch Park. The lakes were beautiful and the Ramada, play equipment, and park were well taken care of. Our children, grandchildren and us enjoyed our day at the park very much. Then we returned to the Hotel to enjoy the pool. Our grandchildren had a blast and us oldsters enjoyed visiting and playing with the kids. The Hotel rooms were large and had a refridgerator. We received a full breakfast each morning of our stay. They served scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, waffles, bagles/cream cheese, several cereals, and juices. Food and service was good. The front desk was extreamly helpful. We had so much fun with our family there, we can hardly wait to return. Will return soon. Thanks.

Staff was very attentive, one call to the front desk and every question was answered promptly and courtiously. (no matter how lame) Absolutley impressed and happy.

The hotel staff, desk and restaurant, were excellent - however, maid service was poor if you did not leave a tip, ie. ist day when we left a $5 tip the bed was made up completely, everything was spotless, days two to five when we left a $2 tip the bed was partially made, last day when we forgot the tip, the bed was barely straightened, floor was not vacumed and lotion/shampoo were not left

No customer service for extra blankets when room was too cold. Nor hot water, probably the reason there was no hot water. Hotel employees failed to inform me that the boiler failed. In the morning I was standing in the shower with no hot water. Not until I was disgusted enough with the hotel, that they wanted to give me another room. With bags packed I found better accommpdations at far better hotel.[...]

At check-in the man at the desk was argumentative when I stated that I needed to check the license plate of my rental car (I had parked around the corner), he insisted that I had taken the shuttle (which was dropping off someone else). Upon entry to my room, I found it to be extremely hot. I cranked up the air to no avail. As a traveler who had not slept for more than 36 hours I was ready to do nothing other than sleep, cold shower, cool cloths to the forehead, I did everything I could to remedy the situation for the night. By 10:30 pm I had enough. Calling the front desk, I stated I needed another room that had proper air conditioning. After another argument about having maintenance come to the room, and the fact that I wished to maintain my privacy and just plain get to sleep, I was finally given keys to another room by about 11:30. The tub was not well cleaned, the towels had someone else's hair on them, the sheets were too small for the beds. I will not return and I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy.
