Features
Situated on 440 acres of lush landscaping, The Wigwam Resort offers amenities that make it an Arizona destination in itself. At the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, an Arts and Crafts style and plush furnishings set the stage for the restorative work that happens within: Relaxation rooms, 15 treatment rooms, couples' suites, a private lap pool and more.

Of the three 18-hole championship golf courses at The Wigwam Resort, two were designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and one by Red Lawrence. The courses' variety, beauty and challenge have earned them a long list of impressive accolades. The resort also features 7 outdoor event venues including private gardens and a grand lawn.
Dining
The resort's emphasis on wholesome, farm-to-table cuisine is highlighted in its very own farmer's market, held each summer on the front lawn.

Old World Charm Revisited

This is a property that was built in the 1920s, so you would naturally expect the effects of all those years to have taken its toll. You would be so wrong. This property has been beautifully restored but it still manages to retain that early 20s charm and grace. The staff (to a person) is unbelievably friendly, caring and oh so helpful that they take a back seat to no one else. The grounds are impeccably kept so that at all times you feel that you are residing at a five star resort; and you are. I truly have found my home away from home. Staying at the Wigwam has been one of the finest vacation weeks of my entire life.

Thursday evenings are "Art Walk" nights in Old Town Scottsdale. We like to eat out early (5:30-6:00) in that area, and then take in the Art Walk. The restaurant of choice is "Eddie's House" (walking distance to Old Town). Local chef, great innovative food and wine, and very reasonable prices.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Room was spacious, simple and beautifully decorated. The property was well maintained with lovely landscaping. We had a delicious meal at their main restaurant. The restaurant was well priced for the quality of the food. They use organic or locally grown ingredients. Most outstanding was the staff. They were gracious, helpful and came across as genuine in their enthusiasm. Our only complaint was the noise the air conditioner made. I was delighted that it worked so well, and though it was 100 degrees outside it was cool and comfortable inside. However, my travel partner found it bothersome, as it cycled on and off.

A mom's getaway

This was a great getaway and I got to see my son graduate, well sorta. My plane was exceptionally late but that wasn't the Resorts problem. This was the second visit to the Wigwam Resort. I love this place and the only thing that could have made this visit more enjoyable was the attitude of the first valet that I encountered. They say that first impressions are the most important. This man was incredibly rude. Also the front desk staff is very aware that you are an ORBITZ client and they let it be known and it is not with a positive note. You are made to feel like a "second class" visitor but once you get beyond the front desk you are treated fantastically. Remember this is a resort and the drink and menu prices reflect such. The service and the amenities are fantastic and this is the only place I stay in the Phoenix area. I only had two meals here and both were fantastic. I visited the zoo and a couple of off site restaurants. Go, enjoy and have a great time. It is worth the extra money.

Absolutely delightful

While I was in Arizona on business I wanted a place to stay when not working, where I could totally relax and forget about the business part of my trip and the Wigwam fit the bill in every way. I couldn't have asked for more perfect accommodations. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Wigwam Resort. Great food, friendly staff, very clean, spacious, beautifully appointed room with a gorgeous view of the Oasis Pool. Wish I were still there.

Great Stay!

I was just really looking for a place close to where my daughter lives. It was only slightly more to stay at the Wigwam compared to other "economy" hotels in the area. It was absolutely worth the price difference. The grounds and pool were in amazing shape. Staff was extremenly friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again.
