FUN IN HAVASU (FOR THE YOUNG!)
THIS HOTEL IS VERY MODERN AND GEARED TOWARD YOUNG PEOPLE. IT HAS A GREAT LOCATION . . NEXT TO LONDON BRIDGE. IT'S AN ACTION AREA THAT CAN BE FUN BUT THE NOISE AT NIGHT IS BOTHERSOME IF YOU'RE TRYING TO SLEEP. WE DID NOT LIKE THE COFFEE POT THAT REQUIRED THAT YOU KEEP YOUR FINGER ON THE ON BUTTON TO MAKE IT WORK. ALSO, HAVASU IS A VERY HOT AREA OF THE COUNTRY BUT THEY USE COMFORTERS HEAVY ENOUGH FOR ALASKA. WE'D KICK IT OFF AS WE WERE TOO WARM. . THEN WE WERE TOO COLD WITHOUT IT.

HEAT HOTEL REVIEW
Best thing about the hotel is the location: right at the London Bridge.. great view from our balcony. Hotel a bit off beat, but clean and certainly acceptable.

Great Havasu gem
My husband and I do mobile anesthesia in AZ and travel frequently. Heat is a cute, Mondrian-esque,modern but comfortable hotel. The biggest perk: great view of London Bridge and walking distance to all the shops and attractions. The staff was friendly, good sized room and the bed pretty comfy-- even for us, who have back and neck problems. The downside? I enjoy fragrant smells when you walk into a room... Heat smelled a little damp, kinda like wet carpet without scented cleaner. I would stay again to enjoy the river or for business... Hopefully the wet carpet smell was a fluke.

Hunt down a cafe/bakery called Something Special, off of Swanson Ave. They've got great sandwiches and the pastry case is phenomenal. From brownies and baklava to canollis and carrot cake... I liked them all. My personal favorite: white chocolate raspberry cheesecake! A must!!!

Unbeatable Location for the Price
It was one of the most enjoyable hotels I have been in for the price. The location was great, our view of the London Bridge at night was awesome;during the day we watched the boats from our balcony, sitting very close to the lake. Restaurants and shops all within walking distance. From our arrival to our departure we raved about the accomodations, comfortable bed great bathroom. We were able to walk along the lake and enjoy the park adjacent to the hotel. When in Lake Havasu we will make the HEAT our hotel of choice...Thanks for the great service.

Nice on the outside dirty on the inside
Double booked the only hotel suite. Had to negotiate to get comperable rooms. Room dirty and broken items in room.

Unbelievable Bed!
Great Place to stay in Havasue, In the center of everything, quick walk to most things that you might want to do in lake havasue. The staff are great and helpful. The room very clean, The place is a 5 star, the beds are unbelievable. The check-in also doubles as Bar. So make sure to pack the party animal side! They are ready to serve you. :) All aside unbelievable place, and great time, and the best sleep I have had in log time. To party show up from thr-sun. To relax, and refresh and get good deals show up from sun-thr. :) I don't know the name of the staff, but beautiful young blond woman who was the front desk person, manager was very pleasant and courteous. For the under 25 crowd
My daughter summed it up best - this hotel was trying for a certain ambiance but obviously missed. They are trying to be hip and trendy, but are way off the mark. I guess my first hint should have been that the check-in desk is a bar.
