Located on historic Route 66, the Rodeway Inn hotel is less than four miles from the Historic Route 66 Museum. This Kingman hotel is minutes from the Bonelli House museum, Locomotive Park, the Kingman Army Airfield Mohave Museum and the Mohave Museum of History and Arts. Enjoy majestic views, hiking, wildlife viewing and biking at Hualapai Mountain Park, which is 15 miles away. Make plans to tee off at the nearby Cerbat Cliffs Municipal Golf Course. The Grand Canyon National Park and Lake Meade National Recreation Area are about two hours away. Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff is 140 miles away. Several antique shops and specialty shops are available nearby. Pet Accommodation: 10.00/pet per night, limit 2 under 50LBS.

No internet/Parking, Not good for family

This hotel is where most international young people attend, such as bicycler riders, mountain climbers. The atmosphere is not good for families with children as kids may see some causalities. Once, I was in the lobby and the TV was broadcasting graphite scenes! The parking is very crowded and actually you will not find any lot if you come back later than 9pm. So, you will need to park your car in the neighborhood streets. In fact the internet is limited to the lobby and around the pool. So, there is no internet access in the rooms. If you are planning to reserve a room in the shared bunks(dorms), you should know that there is only one bathroom and one shower for 40 beds! I can imagine what happens in the morning! The bathroom has no light and the toilet was clung! Also, it was very dirty. If you want to save some money, it is fine; otherwise you can find so many better hotels.

Rare Bargain

Older motel in pretty good shape. Great shower with lots of hot water. Free internet!! Close to everything! Arrived at 1:00 AM and woke the manager/owner who was friendly in spite of the hour. As clean as any of the more expensive biggies on old 66.

Not bad for the money

I was okay with the room. The beds were firm and fairly comfortable. The ROOM WAS CLEAN. I will give them that. It is an old property and it is obvious that the owners are not putting any money into upgrades, but do maintain what they have. If you like the sound of trains, it is about 300 feet from the BNSF tracks. I never heard a train whistle, but you could definitely hear the freight trains as it went by. I found it very peaceful because I grew up near train tracks. For the price, I have no complaints. It was very affordable[...].

there is only one movie theater in town and it is about 4 miles from the hotel. It was nice to get out, but Kingman is definitely not a vacation destination. It was, however, a great launch point for Laughlin, NV and Hoover Dam.

just what i expected for a one star

the hotel served my purpose, still slightly overpriced. bad coffee and continental breakfast. luckly a good resturant is nearby.
