The east part of the hotel was next to a very busy set of coast to coast railroad tracks. Too noisy. Nice people and the room had no glairing faults. The breakfast was nice and the staff was also friendly. The facility was easy to find and close
to I 40.
I must have killed half a dozen bugs/spiders in this hotel. Someone else before me had too because there were bug guts & legs stuck to the bathroom wall. Must admit I'm a bit of a "hotel snob" and this is a MOTEL through and through. It's old and
dirty. If you're used to staying at better hotels (like me), even "on the road", you might not like this one. Problem is, there aren't really any better hotels in Kingman.
The staff and management were delightfully courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and smelled good. The swimming pool looked great. Not your average little motel. They offered cookies, coffee, bottled water and snacks in the lobby. I asked
the clerk for directions to a grocery store to buy a bottle of wine and she asked me if I preferred white or red. Then she gifted me one! I would not hesitate at all and would whole-heatedly recommend this facility. I just wish that this experience would be the norm for all Ramadas. However, I know it wAs unique because the next night I stayed at the Ramada East in Albuquerque and sadly the place was in serious disrepair! The staff couldn't offer a better functioning room so the refunded my room charge the next morning when I requested it.

Short drive from hotel
Take a drive downtown in Kingman and don't eat at In'n'out burger! There are local restaurants which would have been far better.
Hotels are fairly consistent. What really makes your stay is your interactions with the staff. I have got to say that the best thing about our stay was Mathew at the front desk. He was very friendly, Accommodating and just made the stay a happy
one with his attitude. The free water and snacks in the lobby were unexpected and very appreciated. Breakfast could use some help but overall a terrific place to stay.
The hotel was quite basic and shows its age. We were in an "updated" room and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but ordinary. My chief complaint was that the room was quite dark even with all the lights on. The carpet showed
hard use and should have been replaced with the updating. It was an ok place to sleep, but not to spend any time outside of sleeping.
Broken shower head holder meant I had to hold the shower head. Sheets of very poor quality and undersized for the bed. About as expected for the price except for the broken items.
On the good side, they take pets with a reasonable pet fee, the
rooms and bathrooms are spacious and there is a small fridge and microwave.
After a daylong adventure along the Grand Canyons, a good night of R & R was in order. This place provided us just the right kind of TLC. Upon arrival, we were offered a chilled bottle of water. The receptionist was graceful & quite informative in
giving us touring advice. We picked up some fast food from the Sonic across the street& enjoyed the meal by the hotel pool side. We dipped into the pool for a while but a hot tub would have been even nicer. There isn’t a gym within the hotel but management (who took over the place recently) said that a spa & recreation room was in the pipeline.
Beds were comfortable but could use better quality linens. The microwave & mini-fridge in the room was a convenient feature. Wi-Fi is free unlike most 5 star hotels. Continental breakfast though mostly pre-packaged items were free & more than enough to get us fueled for the day ahead. Coffee is limitless. Parking was easy & plentiful.
For the price & location, the place is perfect. The warm courteousness of the staff will definitely bring me back
