Wife's 1st Grand Canyon Trip
This was my wife's 1s trip to the Grand Canyon. It was a surprise trip. The hotel looked like something out of an old Christmas Movie, Huge fireplace it the lobby. High ceilings with a great openness.

Perfect Location
We were very happy with our stay in the hotel. The location of this hotel is very good, its only 5 minutes drive to the Grand Canyon Visitor center which makes it a perfect place to stay even if you plan to stay for couple of days and want to go back and forth to the Grand Canyon.

Good Value at a Great Location
The Grand Hotel offers great access to the Grand Canyon South Rim. The hotel decor uniquely incorporates the Canyon in both the artwork and the lodge style trim. The hotel room was clean and quiet. Accommodations, furnishings, and amenities met current industry standards. You do pay more for the location but you have to consider time savings of the 1.5hr drive each way to Flagstaff especially if you are planning on staying more than one day at the park. The restaurant fare was tasty but pricey as well. I recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again myself.

Grand Hotel - Great Place
So close to the grand canyon you're almost in it! Free shuttle if you don't want to drive to it and hassle with parking. Clean, spacious, granite counters, compfy beds, outdoor patio.

The Hotel was very nice, however, we were booked and paid for a king bed but there were no king bedrooms once we got there. Very disappointing! Price seemed high after we got there - no great views for $221 per night!

Slightly Disappointed
Probably would not stay again
Located 2 miles from the entrance of Grand Canyon Park. Great location! But we paid for it! Very overpriced for the outdated room we got. Thin walls, dark rooms. The hairdrier did not work, but was replaced within 20 minutes. Indoor pool was small, would never go in it. The restaurant in the hotel was the highlight. There is not much in town as far as entertainment and other hotels go, but If I go back to Grand Canyon, I would spend extra and stay at the Grand Canyon Village.
