Great location

Clean, small rooms but fine for showering and a nights sleep. However after having lunch in the Grand Canyon we picked up a brochure and found that we could have stayed in the National Park for less. Hotel was overpriced

Average, but expensive due to location

This Lodge has a Hotel portion and a Motel portion. I stayed in the Hotel. It was just average accommodations, but they can charge a high price because it is an easy 10 minute drive to the Grand Canyon. I went in May of 2014, and the beds in my room were hard and firm. The town of Tusayan (first two syllables rhyme with Suzie) has a cluster of hotels close to the South Rim entrance of the Grand Canyon Park. I would recommend staying at the lodgings inside the Park itself, if possible. They are nice and convenient (but old). Park rooms may need to be reserved well in advance.

Great location for Grand Canyon

All rooms in the Grand Canyon were sold out, so we had to stay in Tusayan. This Holiday Inn was very close to the park. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were loud - heard slamming doors all night long. For the quality of the hotel, I thought it was too expensive.

Ok

Sink tap broken, hardly any water pressure in shower, heater old and made noise. Staff nice and helpful. Not the best room. We stayed in older part of building, I believe there's a newer wing.

Grand Canyon family trip

Very convenient location right outside grand canyon, but for $125 a night they should include a continental breakfast. Also, Bathroom didnt have vent fans, Terrible. I've paid less than that at other hotels and they had more to offer.
